Yes we are. Harden is the key though, because he can get them in foul trouble and off the court. No one else puts fear in to the Warriors like Harden because of his crazy offensive talent. They kill us in the paint(like every team does) because they drag the centre away from it with ball movement and that opens up the middle for easy points. Wouldn't matter who is the centre, that is how they do it. also remember that Chris Paul would have run the second unit yesterday against the Warriors and not Weber if Harden played
Holic is the ultimate troll. There’s no way someone can consistently be wrong as much as he is. I mean, eventually he should say something that actually makes sense given how often he talks. A broken clock is right twice a day right? How can holic literally never be right unless he actually knows his stuff?
Wow, how ridiculous is this statement? The Warriors would trade AT LEAST 4 of those 6 guys for Capela alone. They would make that trade RIGHT NOW with their top contender for the championship.
Capela just needs the right kind of coaching to realize his potential. He's made great strides in development but he needs to work with a great PF/C teacher to get that edge.
Another amazing thread... I guess some people don't realize that if Harden played last night then we wouldn't see Briante Weber on the floor for 12 minutes. And the retort to that is Durant didn't play. But I guess people don't realize our top defensive rated wing (Luc) wasn't playing either. Head to head at full strength, I think the Rockets beat the Warriors. We beat the Warriors on their ring night, which was the first game with Harden and Paul together. CP3 was hurt and had a terrible game for some stretches. Last night we hung with the Warriors while we played guys like Briante and Tarik. If healthy the Warriors don't stand a chance. Unfortunately these games need to be kept close with some terrible officiating (Steph tripping over himself and getting a blocking call) in order to keep the product "Amazing"
When healthy, our players able to play the PF is more versatile, more specialized, and deeper than ever before. We really need Luc's length, defensive IQ, and versatility back.
As far as GSW goes.... we need to enact a rule that if we make 2- 3pters in a row then our next two shots have to be at the rim.
Did anybody ever really think that we could beat a fully healthy GS team in a 7 game series with the squad we have right now? Let’s be real. Can we give them a challenge? Can we make it tough series? Sure, but without adding at least another top 15 player while not decimating our depth, our chances will be pretty low. My goal for this year was making the WCF and giving GS a tough series. We will have the opportunity this summer to add the pieces necessary to take them down. Morey will have to hit home runs.
Sure , That's advantage Rockets .... IF Nene & Capela are healthy (no reason to think they wont be). But Anderson likely puts you at a disadvantage no matter who the opponent is. One trick pony that isn't turning that trick. Honestly this is on the offensive scheme more than Anderson as he's much more versatile offensively than just chucking 28footers .... but that's what he's asked to do in this offense. I'd like to see DanTony incorporate a few new wrinkles into this offense - after the initial probing of the high pnr by Harden / CP3 , add in some pindowns or screens off the ball .... some high / low action against some matchups , get Harden the ball in the flow of the offense rather than in isolation , cut down the turnovers.
If they traded 4 guys for Capela, they'd still have 2 guys better than him at the 5. How ridiculous you are.
Randolph is capable of giving team more production than either Troy or Nanu right now. Perry Jones or even Terrence Jones too.
