    From what I gather

Evil Doppleganger Cooper possessed by BOB has been in the real world for 25 years and in a ploy not to return to the Black Lodge when his "time was up" manufactured Dougie Jones to instead take his place and trick MIKE and real Cooper in the Black Lodge. As Cooper couldn't get out until his doppleganger was returned.

What I have zero clue on:
I don't know who the assassins were associated with and who and why were they trying to kill either Dougie Jones to keep him from going into the Lodge or real Cooper to keep him from going after BOB.

The thing that came out of the glass box.

And why Evil Cooper has it in for Bill Hastings and various people of the South Dakota town.

Cooper in the casino in Ep.3, Michael Cera's scene as Andy and Lucy's son and Cooper at the breakfast table were my three favorite things so far.

I like the tone of the last few episodes since Cooper returned. It's gone from heavy dark light comedy to vice versa.

I thought the "hit and run" scene in the last episode was amazing drama. Impactful. Well directed and acted all the way around.

the original twin peaks mixed light-hearted humor with terrifying traumatic scenes really well too. I don't think many directors can pull that off expect Lynch.

I will have to go back and check for myself, but someone said that was the same intersection from Firewalk With Me that Mike had the road rage incident with Leland.

Last night was again a great episode, and that ending song.....wow. This is building up to finally shed light on the whole scope of the story.
