The dumbing down started with Reagan. Though not intelligent and a bit pandering, Reagan was thoughtful, articulate, and otherwise a high-order statesman.

Then came Dubya. An under-qualified fail-son doofus with good intentions and old money manners.

Then Palin. The lady who won't shut up at the PTA meeting with "live, laugh, love" crap all over her house.

Question...does Trump actually know what she said? He constantly says things like “the things she said” or the “disgusting things she said,” but never mentions what those things are.

 

I would be willing to bet that not only does he not know, but that he probably believes she said things she never said.

I don't regret voting for Obama, but it's too bad McCain didn't get a turn in the presidency. He would have been good too.

As for Trump's denouncement, yeah he caused the problem and he soaked up the chant for a good 15 seconds, but still it is a good thing that he is now pretending like he didn't like it and is discouraging it from happening again. Because it was headed in a very dangerous direction if he let it be a staple of his rallies. I expect he'll continue to hammer on the socialism! of the squad, but hopefully steers clear of their race, religion, and origin at least (chauvinist references to their gender still expected unfortunately).

I’ve noticed it’s a big weird fetish thing with all my perverted right wing friends too. I can’t say the things here they say about AOC and Omar right after they talk about how stupid they are etc. I hate you but I’m obsessed with a fantasy with you in other ways. It’s truly bizarre and kind of gross. And I’m a red blooded dude myself. It takes a lot for me to think somethings weird and off.
