He's 27..would be a relative bargain great defender..ariza kinda level hit's the 3 - 41-43% ...and thank god can shoot free throws. He's an unrestricted FA and from what I've read is seeing the writing on the wall in San Antonio. Rockets could run a small lineup with LLull, Harden, Green, Ariza, Dwight. it would be this and I like it! LLull, Beverly, JET Harden, Brewer Green, Ariza Smith, DMo, Ariza Dwight, Capela
Mentioned him in a previous post but not sure how well he will play outside of San Antonio. Same with Marco B.
I respectfully disagree. I wish we could package and get Jrue Holiday from the Pelicans. Especially since he was coming off the bench behind Tyreke Evans.
well Ariza does not need to play as many minutes. And I like the Idea of Green and Ariza on the court at the same time. Green could get 30 minutes per game here
the writing in the wall as you said, is that he will be too expensive for San Antonio to afford him. Well, the same is for the Rockets. He will take around 10 per. And he isn't what the Rockets are looking for, we need more of a playmaking guard than Green is.
Not sure why ppl think he would do as well in this system Spurs magnify their players strengths.. the Rockets system would just magnify his weaknesses
good player, but i dont want him if he comes in over-priced. spurs system made him look better than what he actually is, imo. thought op was talking about jeff green for a second.
I love that idea. If it does not work out, he would be an expiring contract after season, and sign and trade him elsewhere. Him and Harden would be great together.
It'd be a bad allocation of resources to go hard after someone who most likely isn't a starter, and that is already a strength on our team, especially when we have a clear question mark at point guard.
He could be a better fit than Brewer because of his shot, but we need a playmaker and cap space is scarce. He might make more than the MLE anyway. He's very good at his role in SA because they can put multiple creators around him. We don't have that luxury.
