Titans Hire Mike Vrabel

Payne said a long time ago that all he knows about Vrabel is that he can coach a group of linebackers pretty well. What else he can do is completely up in the air. His first season as defensive coordinator was awful but it was also highly impacted by injuries. Not sure what kind of coach he will be but I’m pretty indifferent on him leaving.

 

So two more positions the Texans need to fill?

 

Maybe not. With Pagano, they already have two LB coaches.

 

I watched his presser, gotta say I think he's gonna flame out badly. I just didn't get the sense of a guy who will lead your franchise. For me, he seemed out of place and uncomfortable.

 

Solid hires.

 

I know the consensus is he sucks, but Vrabel seems to be off to a good start to me.

Mariota hasn't grown as a thrower since joining the league, highly doubt Vrabrel helps with that. Still not concerned about the Titans. As a reminder we hung 57 on them when both teams were relatively healthy.
