"If there are things that I didn't like that Billy did now I get to change them. There are things that I liked Billy did now I get to use them.” Most critical relationship in the building is between the HC and the GM -- players feed off that. Saw the wrong kind of GM. Now he has the right kind.
Um, I hope not. 14-2 Titans would still take the division, lol. If you're a fan of the Texans and don't root against the other teams in the division 90% of the time (the other 10% of the time just being when they are clearly out of contention and playing other AFC competitors that you want to lose so Texans can have higher seed), then you don't understand basic NFL playoff math. Sad that Bob McNair is apparently in this group... As for the hire, it makes absolutely no sense.
What? You always wish a friend luck. There’s no way they’re going 14-2 any year. It’s just respect. Relax! If it was sarcasm, I got you though
It wasn't sarcasm. The Titans are in the same division as the Texans, the team Bob McNair owns. Has nothing to do with being a friend, lol. You can still be friends... off the field, after the season, whatever. It's just simple math. Wishing Vrable luck the 14 games he doesn't play the Texans is idiotic... as a Texans fan... and COMPLETELY MORONIC as the Texans owner, lol. I understand the sentiment behind it, but its the type of thing I would have anticipated Bob might say, because it's that type of thing that's been reflective of the culture of this team. In reality, you should say, "good for him, congrats, but sorry, hope you guys suck".
It's like Houston attracts id!ot bloggers and radio gossip dudes who are vocabulary/grammar challenged. The hissy-fits over "alignment" are getting silly. Some of same who have/are covering up Smith for some highly questionable behavior. SMH
If the Texans were truly ‘scared to death’ when game planning against Mariota, I’m glad Vrabel hired away.
Mariota is super talented and his running ability can only be matched by a couple of QBs, but he has been average at his best, and flat out terrible at his worst. If you fear him, you might as well fear 30 other QBs.
Seth Payne explaining to us what "intelligence" is while saddling 100% of the defense's shortcomings on Mike Vrabel and questioning his competence is such classic irony.
Eh....he's just telling the hillbilly titan fans what they want to hear. I wouldn't dig any deeper than that. As for this hire, it definitely has a "Mike Singletary coaching the Niners" feel to it. I predict the same type of results.
