The Warriors are a finesse team. This year, the Warriors will lose to the Rockets in the playoffs if the teams meet.

Steph and Klay are awesome shooters, but--despite that epic scoring drought of the Rockets--they are the ones who depend on shots falling. If shots fall at the same rates for both teams, the Rockets will win. KD and Steph and Klay very well may outshoot the Rockets a little bit, but the Rockets have more guys who can score. And the Rockets have more game outside of shooting.

This year's Rockets roster is better than last year's roster.

The Rockets are not afraid of the Warriors. The Rockets are more physically powerful than the Warriors and can match the Warriors in scoring. The Rockets will defeat the Warriors in the playoffs this season if they meet.

This is the same thing people have been saying for years, you even heard it when they played Memphis in their prime.

Every year we do this just wait and see what happens. Right now we aren’t even better than OKC, who is more physical and athletic than us and gs. Hopefully fully healthy we’ll be back to last years level or close to it

you guys are way too gassed about these regular season wins.... do you really believe we can trust this supporting cast against 5 all-stars in the playoffs ? they are so stacked they dont even have to depend on theirs. they can keep at least two of them on the floor at all times.

Fukit, I still think Tilman is cheap. I'll go ahead and cosign on this as long as we are healthy. My son boxed golden gloves, when an underdog literally believes they will win, anything is possible. The Rockets are in their head man.

If all stars are overrated then why do teams with lots of them keep winning titles and the rockets haven’t won since the 90s

To be fair the Rox are one of the few championship worthy teams that have not won anything in almost 2 decades but they are close in the last years.

And sometimes they are a tad above being mediocre.

Steph and Boogie are defensive liabilities. We match up better against them now then we did last year. Harden and Paul will expose them off the switch. Boogie can’t run with Capela or Faried either. He adds a big hole In their defense that wasn’t there before.

The 5 allstar thing is overstated. Klay and Draymond are vastly overrated. Gordon can match Klay’s playoff production as he proved last year. Tucker and Draymond are damn near the same player except Dray is a better playmaker and PJ is a better shooter.

Don’t forget about their x-factor iguodala. He’ll be healthy this time.

We just struggled to put away the hawks and you guys think we will take down the warriors. Klay overrated? Lol I guess you wouldn’t trade Gordon for him huh?

Stars matter in the playoffs. All these role players making shots in regular season won’t make them when the pressure is ramped up in postseason basketball. 0-27 is what we got last year when it mattered the most.

    talk about downplaying GS

Do u see this team being able to consistently play the level of defense they did during last year’s WCF? Now we don’t even have HCA. I have hope, but I’m not about to start making proclamations that we’ll definitely beat GS in a series. Y’all get way too high after some of these regular season wins, maybe that’s why this place loses its sh*t after damn near every loss.

And the Warriors lost to us without our best player... so what’s your point?

&& don’t put words in my mouth. Gordon outplayed Klay last year in our series with them. This is not a theory it actually happened.

However, That doesn’t mean he is a better player. Obviously I would rather have Klay. Klay has a lesser role for that team now so his impact isn’t as significant as it was pre KD. The addition of Cousins makes it lower. Gordon has a larger role on our team so yes he can out produce Klay... again.

Klay can’t create his own shot and can’t create for others. So yes in terms of Allstar level talent he is overrated.

&& Chris Paul was injured and that was an anomaly as far as shooting. Before the injury we had all the momentum in the series.

    Context matters.
