this is a fine forum i ve read a couple of threads right now...its good to have insight in other teams fanbases and their mode of thinking
The point forward offense is a decoy offense that warriors run in order to keep Durant happy. Either DeMarcus cousins is gonna get hurt or Durant will get hurt running that bullshiet! Steve Kerr, back to back champion, is not in business of hurting feelings. Ariza slowed down Klay. Saturday, Kerr stayed with that point forward kobe Bryant offense only because they want to resign kd.
you can keep your head in the sand all you want. in the end, talent level is what leads you to the mountain top. if yall think surrounding harden with outcasts and spare parts is going to get a title then more power to you.
CHICKEN LITTLES. . THE SKY IS FALLING WE'LL NEVER BEAT GOLDEN STATE! Let's see. . . 3-1 against them last year regular season Had them down 3-2 in WCF before Chris' hammy went out Were up in games 5 & 6 before the refs took over We're 3-0 so far against them this season (recent game INCLUDED their secret weapons Iguadola and Cousins) Rox only team in Kerr era to beat them 4 straight games And all we can do is run around asking each other can we beat them?
exactly, and rockets are more talented than the worriers... we have 2 best players in the series vs them on the floor cp3 and harden are better individual players than any of the players gsw have and capela is a better player than boogie tucker and draymond green are on the same level their bench is not impressive neither is ours good luck to the worriers, they better get they best lineup activated and ready for the playoffs because theyll need it even more than the last year
You're saying the Warriors have been the best for five years? So you agree that they lost two championships while they were "the best"? I'd think you would find hope in that.
I mean I think Klay is better than Gordon but the actually impact in terms of head to head scoring is actuall close enough and they do the same stuff shoot a lot of threes Klay better but EG is better at getting to the hoop and FT line so it kind of evens out. Same with PJ v green. The gap is not huge, green been overrated for years. Now it comes down to harden v KD and Steph v cp3. There different players it depends on what’s working and that’s why the series went 7 and houston was we up 3-2 before cp3 went down. Harden can match KD with ease scoring but provides more offense with his passing. Cp3 can’t keep up with Steph but he’s does everything else better. Rockets just Have the right group to get it done vs the dubs. It really just comes down to the fact that we have 2 of the 3 best offensive players in terms of scoring and passing on the same team the other one being Lebron. If we can get harden some rest down the stretch so he shooting can be there come the playoffs I’m confident as long as cp3 and Clint are healthy this team will actually steam roll Everyone on the playoffs till they play the dubs and that will be the battle. I’m not worried about okc or Denver for some reason. If we’re healthy we have to much elite offense for two guys.
Why is this thread in the GARM? Everyone's a Warrior hater in the GARM, which leads to constant circlejerking. I'm counting this season as the 5th, and the season they won their first title, as the 1st. Even though they blew a 3-1 lead in the Finals, I still think they were better than Cleveland that year.
OK, so you reaffirm the Warriors were better than the Cavaliers but they lost to the Cavaliers. So sometimes the "better" team loses a seven-game series? And you say the Warriors are better than the Rockets? But the better team sometimes loses a seven-game series? What is your point?
Never happened. Conley was injured in '15 -- as was *every* starting PG they faced in those playoffs.
The Warriors appear to be weaker but so are the Rockets defensively. Regular season wins don't matter. The Rockets won the 7 game series last year but just didn't get the trophy. A new one awaits them and it will be every bit as hard as the last one to predict. The Rockets challenge is not the Warriors anymore, its the Rockets. Last year the Rockets found the true identity of the team and has around 20 games left this year to find it again if they have any shot. It appears when the Rockets face the Warriors it gets brought out. They will never win if it is something that has exposed on special occasions. The team that won last year did so because those long streaks showed a team that expected to win EVERY single game and played that way. The switch for the motor was broken to ON. This year they need a reason to play even when this team needs every win it can get after the debacle of a season. We won 65 last year but easily could have won 70. This year we are struggling to hit 50. Look at NBA history and find me all of the 50 game championship winners. Winning is a discipline that THIS team lacks and the excuses are now gone. We lost some of our firepower last year trying to coast at the end of the season for rest. No need to worry about that this year.
This is a very contradictory post! "Regular season wins don't matter"? Then why are you mentioning that "We won 65 last year but easily could have won 70. This year we are struggling to hit 50." It doesn't matter, right? And then: "Winning is a discipline that THIS team lacks and the excuses are now gone." So, you mean that until now they did have excuses for not winning? And even though "regular season wins don't matter," you are still thinking about their excuses for the regular season. Basically we have a lot of posters here sounding smart by saying "The Warriors are the best! No matter whether they win or lose. You heard it here first."
Rattle their cages. If there was any positivism about last year is that the Warriors shouldn't be feared BY NO TEAM
