but, you're right. Children do need a voice in Congress to protect them from people who think they are parasites.

End the war on children by irrational budget cutters.

How much of this could have been paid for by Obama's $100M trip to Africa?

    Or the Obama phone-for-votes program?

    Glass houses...

well, if you're going to distract from the war on children, do it right---

    Program cost, US$66.7 billion.

    US F-22 program.

fyi, that would pay for 667 Obama trips, or conversely, 3 times the amount of proposed SNAP cuts.

    End the war on children.

Sung to the tune of Schoolhouse Rock

    I'm a bad bill
    I'm a really bad bill
And if they vote for me I think I'll be ill
Well, then I'm off to Rick Perry
You know he wants to sign
I'm red meat for the base
Oops! he must have lost his mind
If he signs me, then I'll be a law
How I hope and pray Wendy will
Stand up tall so I stay just a bill

Pro-Abortion Fanatics Shout “**** The Church” During Protest At Texas Capitol…

    Class acts.

    Via LifeNews:http://www.lifenews.com/2013/07/09/...mpaign=Feed:+lifenews/newsfeed+(LifeNews.com)

The pro-abortion madness is continuing for yet another week. On the heels of death threats from an abortion activist to the Lt. Governor comes another outrage.

As members of the Texas legislature attempt to debate a bill that would ban late-term abortions after 20 weeks, abortion activists are shouting.

The typical pro-abortion chant goes something like this: “Women must decide their fate, not the church, not the state.” Bryan Kemper of Stand True is on the scene with his staff and says many of the dozens of abortion advocates screaming tonight in the Texas capitol are replacing “not the church” with “f— the church.”

Texas State Senator Responds To Wendy Davis’ Sneakers With Baby Shoes…

    Love it.

    Via LifeNews:http://www.lifenews.com/2013/07/09/...ndy-davis-during-hearing-holds-up-baby-shoes/

During the hearing in the state House yesterday on the 20-week abortion ban, Texas State Senator State Senator Bob Deuell, MD held up a pair of baby shoes to represent the unborn children who are aborted.

The shoes are a powerful visual symbol counteracting the running shoes that have been a pro-abortion symbol of the Wendy Davis filibuster against the late-term abortion ban.

Above is the picture of Duell holding up the shoes along with a collection of tweets with pictures and commentary on the hearing yesterday and the thousands of pro-life advocates who showed up in Austin to support the bill.

It would make sense if babies were being killed. They aren't. It makes zero sense.

Absurd Fear Mongering: Texas Dems Wield Coat Hangers On House Floor To Protest Pro-Life Bill Banning Abortions After 20 Weeks…

Under this bill a woman has five months to make up her mind if she wants to have an abortion, why would she need a coat hanger?

    Via Politico:http://www.politico.com/story/2013/07/texas-abortion-bill-93887.html

The Texas Legislature got off to a dramatic start on Tuesday with one lawmaker brandishing a coathanger on the House floor as the chamber took up the abortion measure that has roiled the state and the country in the weeks since a 13-hour filibuster derailed its passage in the last session.

The Texas House of Representatives opened at 10 a.m. local time after the July Fourth recess to consider House Bill 2, which imposes a ban on abortions after 20 weeks and, critics charge, would shutter nearly every abortion-providing clinic in the state due to stringent clinic regulations. The measure failed to be fully passed at the end of the last session due to a filibuster late last month led by state Sen. Wendy Davis, who became a national liberal icon overnight. [...]

Thompson and others who accompanied her on the floor brandished several props including wire coat hangers, knitting needles, feathers and turpentine. She charged that without rape and incest exceptions extended beyond the first five months of gestation, sexual assault victims would use those tools to obtain abortions.

You said babies are not being killed.

How about the babies that were killed in the Gosnell case?
