There is a 0% chance the plan as of now is that we are good to go and we won’t jump on the right big move whether it’s Butler or something else later in the season

There is a 0% chance Morey believes as of today we have a 50/50 shot at the title.

We were a Paul injury away last year but last year isn’t this year. I would be shocked if we only do minor tinkering moves the rest of the way.

Trust me I think it’s crazy all the people who think we have taken some giant step backwards but I do believe Golden State still has a decided advantage against us.

I can’t think of anything wrong with this. Nothing at all.

I'm so confused, this is the 2018 off season & not the 2017 off season right? Lol

Why have Luc & Ariza magically been zapped back to our team?

If a good deal presents itself - DM will always jump on it - no doubt... i'd expect nothing less...
but i dont think we no longer need to entertain the 'high risk moves' that DM spoke of prior to acquiring CP3....

I dont think we've regressed... I think Melo is gonna surprise a lot of people and be a solid addition... i think he's far enough along in his career that he's gonna be more receptive to MDA - and I think he's gonna feel an obligation to CP3 and Harden to have his head on straight...

    I got a better idea

    Knicks IN: Gordon, Zhou, 2nd
    Knicks OUT: Porzingis, Ntilikina, 1st

    Kings IN: Nitilikina, 1st
    Kings OUT: De'Aaron Fox, 2nd

Rockets IN: Porzingis, Fox, Kings 2nd
    Rockets OUT: Gordon, Zhou, 2nd

We can add MCW or Llull C as a sweetener

Nah. Everyone except the idiots would've traded Kevin Martin for James Harden. Everyone knew it was lopsided as soon as it was announced.

PJ and EG were major parts of a team that pushed the eventual champions to 7 games in the WCF, one injury away from winning it all.

Kevin Martin never made the playoffs as a Rocket.

LOL, dude no one else can play small ball center for us. PJ has qualities that we need. Jimmy Butler cant bring everything he brings.

Good god, its like you people never watched the playoffs last year. Also I'm getting tired of hearing "This is Jimmy Butler, not PJ FREAKING TUCKER"
No its Gordon and Tucker, two guys who have value on this roster, one of which plays most of his games , doesnt get injured too often and is glue guy in our locker room.

nah really? I'm saying your attachments wouldve kept you from making a bunch of moves EVEN signing PJ as a FA.

what about before PJ came to Htown?

i understand fans and their attachment. Morey is a GM... upgrade upgrade upgrade

If Warriors offered Klay OR Curry OR Durant for PJ & EG, youre not going to do the trade right? because PJ & EG along w/ rest of team wouldve beaten Warriors if not for CP3 hammy? That's your logic

Upgrade is an upgrade is an upgrade. And I have no doubt Morey and BBall Ops run the gamut of simulations w/ Butler rockets vs. PJ EG rockets

    scared money dont make money

Thats not a good thing, at all. He's gonna hate it, and he cant defend nearly as well. People are gonna iso him to death or whatever else.

PJ was highly regarded in Phoenix and Toronto, he wasnt some nobody contrary to what you think. And btw Luc was actually really impactful before his injury, GO CHECK HIS STATS. What is it with people trying to downplay how good guys were after they leave.

Thats a r****ded trade which is much more outlandish then the ones we have going.

First. You dont know his thoughts.

Second. Good let Cousins "iso" him in the post.

Third. Encourages bad play types from the opposition.
