I really doubt we have any shot at all at Millsap. They'd probably ask for half the team. And by that I mean the good, non Dekker, KJ, Brewer, half.
welcome back NBA. it's about that time to just move on. missing all of training camp, all preseason, no practices at this point doesn't really matter much if he signs or not. He'd have a long road to get up to speed and in actual game shape. What a shame for such a unproven player
Something I should have caught with Codman's post. He keeps mentioning "Brotherly Love" and "footwork". I thought he was talking about Okafor's moves in the post, but is it instead a reference to Embiid (surgeries, etc)? And how would we even get either of them? As far as Dmo goes, the wait is getting tiresome.
Was desert outcast Goodwin or is there another surprise cut/trade coming from PHX? With Noel injured and Embiid coming off injury, Philly may not be as eager to trade Okafor, at least this soon.
No chance they trade Embiid. Noel has borderline all star potential, Okafor all star potential but Embiid has superstar potential, he's the only one of the three with great chances to become a franchise player.
Our roster is full at the moment One could argue that Bev's 20game IR stint is reason for Morey to keep ignoring DMo and make him suffer lost pay. They can say to BJ, "we need Brown right now. So don't need to make room for DMo on the roster. Call me when Bev is reactivated." That would be a passable bluff, to get DMo to cave vs the prospect of losing 20 games pay
The Rockets really don't care that much one way or another. If they can get him at what they think he is worth (not much), then they will do it.... otherwise... whatever.
Millsap would be an amazing compliment to James Harden in MDA's offense. Not to mention, he is a good defensive player.
Sounds like D'Antoni cares. Wouldn't be surprised if he goes to Les soon. If not already. Mauri faints.
I normally would too, but Chandler is an elite PNR finisher and can still play defense. It's a "win now" move no doubt.
