Did you really think they would cut a veteran receiver like Walter? And who would they have kept instead? Juaquin Iglesias? Come on.
I suspect Walter is going to be cut next season to give the Texans more cap space to keep defensive starters.
How dare you. Kevin Walter is a battlefighter and will be here as long as there is still battlefightin' to be done.
I hope Martin and/or Jean show enough during the season to push Walter out of the #2 spot before the playoffs begin. Probably a pipe dream with Kubiak though.
If Posey and Martin prove worthy, maybe. I think he's going to take the same paycut he took this year. Then in 2014 he will be released outright.
No Grimes. Keith Browner, Jonathan Grimes, Mitch King, Jeff Maehl, Moran Norris, Cody White and Eddie Pleasant all released.
It's going to depend on how things go this year. If Jean and Martin keep this up and develop this year and Posey starts getting reps halfway thru the year might not have a choice but to boot em
Hopefully Bryant and Grimes make it to the practice squad. They both looked really good in preseason. The thing with Bullock doesn't faze me at all. Same thing they did with Holliday and he looked like garbage last year.
Well, Forsett was obviously going to be the #3 and they weren't going to carry 4 so it's not surprising. Hopefully we'll be able to add him to the practice squad.

Zuerline (sp?) look like a better prospect than Bullock anyway, kicked a 50+ yarder last night and they ran him out there for a 62 yarder which he missed, but still. By the way, picked a round later in the 6th rd, one rd after Gary went googoo for Aggie boy.
Yup, Keo made it and surprisingly Alan Ball made it too. I assume the McManis trade allowed Ball to make the roster, otherwise I don't know. Ball wasn't very good. Texans carrying 6 CBs and 6 WRs.
I don't get the fascination with Keo because he's been terrible but i guess they love him for special teams.
Little surprised Keo, Shelley Smith, and Alan Ball made it. But I am sure they will be still some moves to be made from now and tomorrow as far as waiver claims and signings.
