First guy I thought to compare with Duval too. Except Duval is much better passer and scorer.

He reminds me of Rondo. Hopefully with a better shot.

rod strickland is who he reminds me of. effortless breaking down the defense getting into the paint w/ first step and handles. sets the table with accurate & acrobatic passes. sneaky good finisher using either hand. same ugly 2-hand J. electric in open court. decent man defender.

Duval is way better than Nick Johnson, on all levels. They share similar athleticism and weren't known as the best shooters.

He wasn't THAT bad - give me a break. He played on a Duke squad with the twin towers in the paint, Grayson Allen and Trent Jr. Yes, he didn't particularly shoot very well, but he still averaged: 10pts/2rbs/6a. He has the pedigree to be a very good player in the league. Players like Donte Green, Anthony Randolph, and even Marcus Williams (who had like 17 assists in SL game) can make you reserve judgment on a player, I get it, but I think he'll stick (hopefully w/ us and not someone else).

Morey, offer this kid a contract and send him to the G League for development.

Him and Melton.....our dynamic combo at PG - we would be set for life.

Melton more of 2 guard to me. He is more NBA ready than Tre which is the reason he is getting lion share of minutes. Duval more PG like CP3, but turnovers it over from time to time. Sign him send him to G league I believe we got something. Next year this time, we will see what we got. Both seem lie rotation players, but Tre sees floor like great PG. Only problem is TOs(most of the time he has the right idea, wrong type of pass) and jump shot.

That's assuming that Duval and Melton learn enough in 4 years to take over for CP3 and Harden.

Now seriously, does swapping out Harden/CP3 for Melton/Duval really sound that appealing?

Not trying to bust your balls, but "set for life" with those two may be a weeeeeeeeeeeee bit of a reach.

Yeah, I might have been a bit over on the "set for life", but they seem to be 2 quality players that can be developed into quality players....not CP3/Harden level, but just enough to continue the D'Antoni offense while Morey works his magic to find CP3/Harden replacements.

Not too big of a deal, he only had one decent game, the rest were fairly bad. I know he’s young and has potential on his side, but it looks his shot is years away.

Adel and House showed more promise, and we need wings. Would love to have those 2 on our roster or on a 2way.
