So I read Ted Cruz just won the Senate in Texas by one percent over Beto back in November. That reminded me to register to vote. The issue is the entire process is archaic and outdated. Why do we have to print out and mail our application 30 days prior to voting. Everything should be done online since everything is tied to our Social Security number. it is only to register to vote and not actually vote. This is the first time I’ve had to actually mail an application letter in an envelope in my entire life.
I heard Trump might beat Hillary if she really did have secret documents on her server. Is it too late to register?
It’s outdated, you can’t hate me for wanting to save the planet. Actual voting should be done publicly in private booths, but registering to vote should not require so much time and resources. If you are an American citizen you should automatically be registered and enabled to vote. But if you are going to require people to register then actually force them to spend on it it will only deter them from voting. Unless you are happy with that outcome.
So much time and resource? A short form to fill out, an envelope to address and drop in the mail qualifies as "so much time and resource"? Did it take longer than ten minutes?
Us millenials, man, we are lazy. But seriously, i have to buy a stamp? I cant remember the last time i needed to buy an actual stamp.
