If "VERY hard" means checking your country records every two years to ensure you're registered, then yes, I agree with you. If someone doesn't have the mental capacity or will power to do this, then I may suggest they shouldn't be voting in the first place. Most areas have early voting that includes the weekend. As others pointed out, a national holiday does not automatically grant everyone the day off nor would we want to suggest shutting down the entire country for an entire day. That said, there is room for improvement. Its just not "VERY hard" as suggested. But that said, there is plenty of room for improvement. Its just not "VERY hard". Most states already have laws requiring companies to give time off, often paid, to go vote. You should face the reality a good portion of americans have no interest in politicians (outside of b****ing about topics they are ill informed on) nor do they show any interest in their right to vote.
