Epic... Pokemon Go Player Keeps Playing as Wife Gives Birth http://gamerant.com/pokemon-go-wife-birth-339/
Geez, I saw people playing that all weekend. I was up in the Lake Way / Bee Cave area over the weekend and saw people walking around playing on their phones at the lake looking for pokemon....and then @ the Galleria shopping area / city center thing up there.... One guy stopped his car on the side of the road, got out with his son to crouch @ the intersection to what I assume was capture some sort of pokemon. pretty amazing how much this thing has caught on...
Can't believe this game just came out last week and is already so popular. Just downloaded it and caught 1. Seems boring.
Agreed. I'm a Pokemon fan generally, but this is boring. I played a few hours and it was just searching for pokemon and flicking poke balls at them. Too many real games available for me to waste my time with this psuedo-game.
it feels very beta - buggy as hell - great idea but many things not fleshed out, obvious issues not addressed All of the problems seem very fixable though, especially given how much money they can throw at it. They are going to be able to charge a ton to companies that want pokestops near them.
They'll eventuall add options to trade Pokemon which I think should have been included with the original release.
If they iron out the fighting mechanics and just make the whole thing more buttery smooth there will be no going back. This thing will take over the planet. Brb Squirtle in back yard.
can't access it at work, but I think this poll shows yellow is underpopulated http://www.strawpoll.me/10692807
Can someone explain what makes this game exciting? Is it the fact that you can mind your business during the day and be able to catch pokemon while doing so, or is it the fact that it forces you to drive to random places, waste gas and time, just to play it?
