Lost my voice too. Lost my voice quick, early on actually.. when Graham dropped that near TD catch with NO ONE around him; that Keenum beautifully threw to him. I went crazy, jumping around wishing I was day dreaming or something and that he actually caught it in reality or something. :(

I bet the whole game Graham wanted that one back! :(

Mannnnnn, I won't be able to stop thinking about how we could have won this game by 2 TD's (drop by Graham and drop by Hopkins) for the next 2 weeks. :(

If you look at history, 5 years at most is pretty much the window you should have for coaches to prove themselves. If you haven't won a SB or at least come damn close, it's time to shuffle the deck. It doesn't necessarily mean the coach sucks, or the next coach will be better, but unless you want to tread water it's time to give someone else a shot and hope he's the one. If you look at the list of Super Bowl coaches and how soon they accomplished that feat, it speaks for itself. Cowher's the big exception on the list, but he won over 62% of regular season games, and in his fourth year had led the Steelers to a Super Bowl where they were a massive underdog, and led them to 4 conference championship games on other occasions.

    Since 1980:
    Harbaugh: Y5
    McCarthy: Y5
    Payton: Y4
    Tomlin: Y2
    Coughlin: Y4
    Dungy: Y5
    Cowher: Y14
    Gruden: Y1
    Belichick: Y2
    Billick: Y2
    Vermeil: Y3
    Shanahan: Y2
    Holmgren: Y5
    Switzer: Y2
    Johnson: Y4
    Seifert: Y1
    Parcells: Y4
    Ditka: Y4
    Gibbs: Y2
    Walsh: Y3
    Flores: Y2

After McNair's comments, I'm hoping the Texans just lose every game this season. It sucks that you have to hope for the team to be bad just so the owner will make the obvious move. If we finish 5-11 or 6-10, there's a definite (if not a good) possibility that he keeps Kubiak.

Some were already wanting to tank for a draft pick. I wasn't. I was hoping for the win in KC plus an Indy loss. But with playoff hopes essentially over and an owner looking for excuses to keep Kubiak? Sigh. **** it.

And I forgot to clarify the years above are since joining the franchise they won the SB with, not years coaching overall.

Not so fun fact: Of the top 50 players in receiving yards this season, only 3 have zero touchdowns. Andre Johnson is one of them.

Case got Hopkins his 2nd TD today. Hopefully he'll get Andre one soon.

The weird fantasy stat I heard coming into this game was that Andre Johnson only has 4 targets when the team is in the red zone. What reasoning is there that he's only been targetted 4 times when we need a touchdown? Making AJ a RZ decoy for all these years is a waste of all pro talent.

I see what you're saying in that the Kubiak dumping is probably extreme, but if you're going to draw up a scenario where Kubiak is free from the responsibility of retaining Smith/Bush/Gibbs, why can't the same reasoning be applied to Wade and his draft picks? If it's up to Smith to decide on dead weight like Marciano, then Kubiak is just the offensive X/O branch of government.

lol glad i wasnt the only one. when keenum let that one fly, i was already going crazy, jumping out my seat, because I knew someone had to be open for him to let it go like that, then Graham drops it and I start dropping F bombs like it was no tomorrow. it was intense

Not sure if it's brought up, but I am guessing it has. With Schaub at the helm Kubiak runs a million bootlegs that lead to under thrown balls or INT's this year.

With Keenum who is a mobile QB he runs 1 that almost resulted in a TD.

Just adding to the list that everyone has on why Kubiaks play calling sucks balls. Then you top it off with him deciding for about 4 or 5 plays at the end to go with no protection for Keenum when we are trying to make a comeback. The first series you did it in the 4th they sacked him or got to him quick.

So what do you do? The same damn thing the next series which ended the game.

Couple that with the poor clock management at the end of the first half and you have a recipe for a good "Get the F out sandwich for Kubiak"

That was horrid play calling...someone needs to freaking call him out on this. That alone could have very well cost us the game. If we had an extra 30 seconds to go 10 more yards downfield, a FG would have been in play.

You couldnt have possibly managed the clock worse than what Kubiak displayed...this guy has been doing the same crap for 8 years now. A freaking donkey would learn to adjust things after so many failed opportunities.

Exactly, that play wasn't a TD because Graham was shocked the ball came out deep down the field after that much time and it surprised him while he was heading back to the huddle.
