This thread is to monitor the progress of these two players going forward for the simple reason is that their failure and/or success will will truly determine who won the James Harden Trade.

Obviously we came out like bandits with the James Harden trade on the front end. But if Jeremy Lamb turns into a 20ppg scorer 5 ast player and Steven Adams 12ppg 8 reb 2 blk player. It won't be as lopsided of a trade as it is now.

Today the Thunder Beat the Mavericks 107-93.

    Jeremy Lamb Stat Line: 13 pts, 3reb, 3ast, 1blk, 2to (20mins)

    Steven Adams Stat Line: 6 pts, 9reb, 2stl, 1blk, 0to (20 mins)

This was my first glimpse of Steven Adams and was impressed with his performance. He came in with great energy and gave the Thunder a spark off the bench.

Best of luck Jeremy in OKC.

We will meet them in the Western final this year.

Jeremy Lamb bounced a corner 3 shot off the side of the backboard in tonight's game. He has a way to go.

I don't think Lamb will ever be as good as Harden. But he certainly has the potential to be a good scoring SG.

He seems to have improved quite a bit so far this season.

I hated losing Lamb, but getting Harden in return? Just a steal for the Rockets!!

Props to Steven Adams last night:

The more I watch this kid the more I like him. Tough, gritty, loves the game, loves playing, not interested in thuggery. That elbow on VC was entirely incidental (may have been an offensive foul but there was no malice or intent from Adams) and when VC came back and cheap-shotted him, dude just kept balling, didn't even acknowledge it. In my book, that's how you do it.

It's obvious to me this guy has a great attitude and good work ethic. And he's got some skills. I don't think he'll become a superstar but I expect he'll be a star-level player something along the lines of Varajao.

They both look decent off the bench so far. Early though, very small sample size. I won't be surprised if Lamb turns into a Kevin Martin type. Not as high on Adams as basketballholic, I see him as more of a Sam Dalembert or DeAndre Jordan type. Kind of a knucklehead who lacks offensive skills, but big and athletic and does some good things on the court.

Still, that kind of return (plus one solid year from Martin) isn't TOO terrible for OKC. I think when we look back it's possible that it doesn't look like quite as much of a debacle as it seems right now, but I still think they clearly lost the trade.

Thread title should also include the 2018 Dallas Mav 1st round pick and Alex Abrines... This is going to take a lot of following.

A white center's ceiling is another white center? Not a generic comparison at all.

Steven adams is really strong. We'll see how he does vs Dwight

    From the Oklahoman:
Perk and Thabo Sefolosha both did not look happy on multiple occasions tonight when they were taken out of the game. Brooks definitely has some tough decisions this season. One of those guys is playing for a contract. The other is playing for pride. Take away minutes and suddenly there’s a problem.

I think this says alot bout Lamb and adams development. Wouldnt shock me to see them both in the starting lineup next yr

Adam is not white. He is a half-Tongan New Zealander. People mistake him for white because of his high motor.

    A real locker room leader

Didn't know that thanks for sharing that! Problems may eventually start brewing in OKC if Lamb and Adams continue to play well.

What? They're almost nothing alike, Bogut is a defensive anchor and has a very wide frame.

Adams is pretty quick for a 7 footer, pretty bad at defense as of right now, but I don't think he'll ever be as good as Bogut was on D. He could be a decent scorer down the road, but I don't see the comparison to Bogut at all.
