He is top 10 because of high usage on offense, not because of defense/rebounding. He is pretty much the same player he was 2 years and nobody considered him top 10 player.

Unless one or both Lamb and Adams become all stars than Houston got the better of the trade. And the only way to judge that OKC "TRULY" benefited from the trade and replaced Harden is if they make it to the finals and or win a championship because they made it to the finals with Harden. So just stat watching Lamb and Adams early in the regular season is meaningless because if OKC doesn't make it out the west with the help of Lamb and Adams and Harden continues to be an all star player _ than OKC didn't get the value they lost.

On the flip side _ even if OKC has success with Lamb and Adams it still doesn't mean Houston didn't get the better of the trade because that doesn't mean Houston would have had success with Lamb and they may not would have drafted Adams...

There is no reason for this thread.

You do the harden trade a billion/billion times. Even if Adams and lamb have better collective careers w Okc, you do the harden trade

It isn't really a matter of who won or "got the better of" the Harden trade.

That the Rockets benefited is not even questioned by sane people. It was a slam dunk. Without the Harden trade, Dwight doesn't come to the Rockets.

From OKC's viewpoint, indeed it's too early. If they don't at least make the Finals before KD's leaves, it was a failure. If they win a championship the next couple of years, then it's a slam dunk for them too. I'm betting against them.

    The non-reliable Sam Amico:

Multiple league sources have said the Oklahoma City Thunder are willing to deal second-year guard Jeremy Lamb if they can find a more experienced (and consistent) player to come off the bench.

Would it be epic if OKC sends lamb to 76ers for Anderson?

okc is like 100k from the luxury tax. so, unless perkins is involved, i do not see a trade happening.

although... they do have the trade exception for KMart to the Timberwolves to facilitate a trade.

And besides... it isn't their bench that has been a problem. Jeremy and Reggie have been tearing up opposing 2nd units.

How would Anderson be considered a more experienced and consistent player off the bench? He averages almost 12 more minutes per game with only a .9 increase in scoring.

Why would it be epic and where did you pull James Anderson's name from?

I can see OKC trading Lamb but not for someone like Anderson.

@anthonyVslater: Steven Adams limps to the locker room. Definitely a right ankle twist.

Jeremy Lamb with a career high 18 points tonight.

He's getting better and better as the season moves along.

As a catch and shoot guy, he's becoming a serious weapon. He and RJ are a dynamic duo off the bench. If I'm Sam Presti, my concern is will Lamb bring it in the playoffs or disappear.

Postgame, Adams ankle sprain didn't seem that bad. OKC's next couple of games are creampuffs at home (Lakers & Magic) so he won't be needed.

He's a good guy. So smooth.

    Could be Klay Thompson lite.
