    13-3 record prediction still alive.

Yates surprises and is the hero of this game

    Texans - 27
    Falcons - 17

That was Kubiak's play calling; not Yates's decision.

    Agreed
This is going to be a one sided affair .
    *IF* Kubiak Free's TJ

Kubiak cannot got into PLAY IT SAFE MODE
Let the kid run the game like you would with Schuab
I think he is better than Leinart [who IMO seemed to play scared to make a mistake]

    Let the kid sling it
    If so
    Texans 31
    Falcons 17
Two long Touchdowns to AJ and one to Jacoby . . [of course a drop by Jacoby in the endzone too *grin*]

Texans about to Close this MFer out!!

I don't really expect to win after everything that has happened. And Atlanta is a good team.

But if TJ plays well, that will be very encouraging.

Vegas has us at around a 2 point underdog and we have beaten the spread the last 5 weeks. We have a very good shot at this game.

If TJ can throw the ball successfully, this will be a win. Atlanta does not have a good pass rush and their secondary is pretty mediocre. My game plan would be to throw at whoever Dunta Robinson is guarding (hopefully Andre).

I don't know why everyone wants Dunta "helmet-to-helmet" Robinson covering Dre. Last thing we need is Dre missing more time.

I saw no difference in the playcalling for Yates than with Leinart. How was Leinart playing scared? Dude was managing the game just like Kubiak was calling it, and made a heck of a play for the TD pass. He caught a rough break and is now out for the season.

The only reason I want him covering Dre is that he would get dominated. Of course, I think any one of our receivers could make him look foolish. He hasn't been a servicable CB in like 6 years.

You're right, it's only been 4 years. Don't know why I said 6. It began with his injury in 2007. His last 2 seasons with the Texans were painful to watch. The season coming back from injury was understandable. The "Pay Me Rick" stuff, followed by his subsequent crappy season made me seriously dislike the guy.
