4real tho... the fact that it took my 13 drafts 2 get past round 1 is a travesty. if voters werent flaky/salty i would have at least 10 trophies
Walt Frazier and Dumars, I think. Defensive playmaking shooting guys. I don't remember the other team, I think it was talented but lacked shooters. Anyway, I didn't much care that I lost and I wouldn't even remember that draft if not for those comments about my players that surprised me. In my view, Durant is clearly better than Grant Hill was, and Shaq's prime is one of the very highest. I was surprised to find out that some voters saw these players so differently than I did.
To be fair, you get skipped in most drafts. Sometimes for several rounds in a row. So you often fight with less talent. I remember you having several great starts, drafting a great core, a couple great players, and then poof you are gone and everyone catches up.
lol, i was joking. I acknowledge not all of my teams have been top tier except for 1... my team in the draft that I went Kobe-1 Brandon Jennings -2 should have won it all no questions asked
Wow a Shaq-Dirk-Durant front court and you lose? Unbelievable. To me that is as complete a front court as any possible and they complement each other very very well. You could have freaking Jeremy Lin and Earl Boykins in the back courtland still do well. If anything the only problem would be there is only one ball. Are there enough shots to go around? But that will always be the case when you have multiple HOF players in your team.
Since everybody is throwing out their bad beats....This is the one that bothered me the most. Walt Frazier, Clyde Drexler, Dr. J, Wes Unseld, Hakeem Bench: Earl Monroe, Chris Mullin, Dolph Shayes Offense, Defense, Fastbreaking, Chemistry....I thought my team had it all. However, few voters wanted to focus on the deficiencies in my 8th man (Shayes). Btw he was actually drafted in the 5th or 6th round of that draft and I got him in exchange for an eighth round pick but still the disdain. Oh well at least i won a couple current drafts.
We should do a 1980s plus all time draft. We go from drafting scrubs to drafting superstars again ****in down!
Think we felt like your starting five had bad spacing, not sure who your opponent was. Plus Unseld could be seen as a liability vs. Offensive PFs.
