Well...the 2013 Draft just got even weaker...and the 2014 Draft just got even stronger. Hope he recovers well.

Ugh, even though I'm a Gator and I have natural ultra-hate for Kentucky basketball, this was awful. Hope he's ok. Hate to see serious injuries, especially to kids with their whole careers ahead of them.
Ouch, that sucks! The scary thing is I've never seen anyone scream in agony like that and it not turn out to be a very serious injury. That just oozes ACL tear, I fear. The good news is an ACL injury isn't a career threatening injury anymore and with intense rehab, you can return as just about a 100 percent of what you used to be. And even if he does end up losing a little bit of athleticism permanently, it won't hurt him too much as a lot of his great defense come from great timing too and not just hops.
That looked like it was a lot worse than just a normal ACL tear. I'm willing to bet there was more structural damage (i.e. MCL, PCL, meniscus). It didn't look like an isolated ACL tear to me....not with the way he landed, and the knee buckled and caved. I'm not a doctor though, so I could be wrong.
Torn ACL... Kentucky just announced it. Not sure if there are other tears or if it's limited to that, but his season is done.
Man, I feel for this kid. If he decides to leave, teams in the draft will have to make a decision on him based on upside and a small sample size.
