My ex, the hypocrite.

It's not like that. I've been in three serious relationships my whole life. First lasted 13 years, second lasted 10 years. My current relationship is going on 7 years. Nobody's fighting for me.

 

I'll pass on that.

 

I've found a woman that loves to go fishing, loves the beach, loves going to Vegas, backs me up through thick and thin, and helps with mom. Third time is the charm.

 

I just want to enjoy my life. I can't imagine spending my life pissed off like she is. Grow up, build a bridge, and get over it.

 

I just don't get that. Not disrespect to your cousin intended.

Split up in Feb 2012. Divorce went through on Feb 2013. We were seeing each other after the split. If my math is off, I apologize.

Looking at the math, known each other 5 years in, going on 6. Going on serious committed relationship for 4 years.

I'm not sitting in front of a calendar counting months and days. Current gf and I were acquaintances before the split. After the split we dated but saw other people. We went out some more and things grew from there.

Ex equates knowing each other before, and dating after we split up as breaking up the marriage. Like I said, I've always tried to admit my faults, but when I ask her to admit hers, she would say I was turning things around on her and she did nothing wrong. Same thing went on in counseling. You can't fix a problem if you can't even admit that you have a problem.
