Go take a look at the 17/18 season …. He'd lost his shot late in the season and has never recovered. He did not play in 14 of the final 23 games that season and had 6 DNP's in the playoffs that season , in the playoffs he averaged only 8 minutes a game.

you wouldnt know that with they way you speak about it. Its not all about diversifying the offense and having Harden move off ball either. In fact, its way lower on the priority list then defense(which ive never seen you speak about) and rebounding and in general having more talent on the team.

because defensively they shifted to something he sucks at. PJ obviously fit the bill on their switch everything defensively much better. pretty obvious

He never could defend …. what changed was his shooting.

his defense was able to be hidden alot better before the defensive scheme changed. that's what changed. going from a 40% to a 38% shooter is hardly some dramatic change.

In his last six games as a starter in the season you mentioned, he was shooting 48% from 3 on 4.2 attempts per game. In his last 12 games as a starter he was shooting 43.4% from 3 on 4.4 attempts per game. For the 15 remaining games of the season he was shooting 42.1% from 3 on 3.8 attempts per game as a bench player. His shooting percentages were fine, actually tremendous. He was never on a cold streak with us. We just had enough of his defensive lapses.

The defense has been fine. It completely shut down Utah and held golden State below it's regular season ortg.

I've blamed fertita many times for not bringing back ariza, sending back house, not using the mle, etc.

But I don't think it's about getting harden more help. The main thing is harden playing better. He was outplayed by curry and Kawhi in the playoffs. When you are the superstar, that's the burden. Unless he doesn't really care about the chip

Ill take my full credit for saying this team needed more ball movement a while ago while Hollic argued Iso ,

Yeah, no way they are going to change now. Management discussed it and at the end presented it to Harden who said: "no".

check out his stats for 2017-18, especially his average stats for the post season: 35% FG%.... 33.3% 3P%... 1.2 RB... 1.7PT in 8.6min. trash. some times he got heated up during the regular season but to me looks like he was cold as ice most the time with decent to heavy minutes.

ISO ball was how we were going to beat the Warriors. It was the only way we could get in their heads and make them play our game. Now they aren’t a concern, only makes sense that we go back to moving the ball more

he wasn't even part of the real rotation. even with moute's injury, the rockets didn't even want to play him because again as its been pointed out his defense was exposed based on the scheme the rockets were displaying

you come in at the end of a game when its already over and put up a shot or two of course you're probably going to miss. that's all he got up in those games

Yes, his stats were terrible in the postseason. He was horrible in every way. But Corrosion was talking about Ryno losing his shot in the 17/18 regular season, as if that's why he lost his spot in the rotation. His shot was fine, the reason he lost his spot was because he got injured and when PJ stepped in we functioned so much better. It didn't matter whether Ryno could shoot better. Even if he could shoot 45% from three he wasn't going to play.
