*Walt/Bullard/Langhi/Collier are ALL essential ingredients to stretch the defense and keep them honest. Even if they don't score a point, at least they draw their man away from the lanes.

rocket players rated ... 1) steve francis, lead team in three categories last year and still the most explosive guy on this team. He is a threat and if he decided to play D and pass the rock more effeciently the rockets will soar higher than imagined 2) mo taylor, a new face but brings what we lost when hakeem and barkley went down last season, an inside threat. mo will not only score on the block but he will make the pick and role effective thus again elevating the rockets to a higher level. 3) walt williams or the 3 position will be crucial, when the ball goes in and the play breaks up this position will give us the give us our out. we need the three point shoot and i feel walt is out best three point threat, lets see what he an langhi can do ... bull will be consistent again. 4)? the defnsive guy in the middle, hakeem or cato ... which guy will provide interior D and rebounding not to mention shot blocking. i think it will be cato but hope for hakeen to return to old form. 5) shanndon and the other role players, good D and the solid team game. shanndon and the others can pick it up on any givin night. 6) the bench, cat will still be the sixth man an provide the big punch, the rest of the bench will also be crucial for our success.

Does Caroll Dawson count? Because if he is, he's on top part of my list. He's one of the main responsible people for gettin Steve, Shandon, and other key free agents.

    MY list of important people.....

The coach/assistants.. without them the players would look dumb and lost out there.

The video guy.. once again the D would totally suck without this guy.

The laundry guy... without him the players be running around looking dirty or naked.. we don't want that!!!!!!!

The secretaries.. without them no contracts would be made so we would not have any players to speak off.

The front office.. without it there would be no team.

The owner.. without him there would be no team either.. no money...

    I guess that is it..........

Cat, you have been hyping Langhi big time, yet you put him behind Collier. What is up with that?

If you pay more attention to my posts, you'll see I hype up Collier even more than I do Langhi. [IMG] Seriously, I like them both, and I think both will be good but at least at this point I expect Collier to be the better player.

I like Langhi better than Collier, but I think they both will be good picks.

Collier led the ACC in rebounding, and when he is healthy I will bet right now some people here will be eating their words.

Langhi beat out Swift and Miller for SEC player of the year, and Dan was doubled teamed quite a bit as he averaged over 20 a game.

I am excited about these two excellent role players and their future with the Rockets!! Way to draft Rudy T and CD!!!!

(please note the extra exclamation marks for added enthusiasm.)

As unbelievable as it sounds, players do have bad weeks, often as the result of an INJURY as Collier had. The talent level of many of the ACC teams Collier faced (Duke, etc.) was better than that of many teams at the Revue, and somehow he managed to lead the conference in rebounding AND score over 17 a game. How does one subpar week override 4 years of top-level college basketball? Also, Dermarr Johnson was worse than Collier in the summer leagues, and I don't see you guys writing him off...

what injury did collier have? a fake one that will put him on the injured list all year long, so you can deny he sucks and say instead he's "hurt"?
