    Lol @ this offer. Lance is definitely going to get more than this probably at least 11 mil. Unless he's A LOT more loyal than I think he's gone unless they up the offer

    I'm a huge Stephenson fan... if only because I'm a huge fan of anyone with athleticism and can play defense. If the Rockets strike out on Lowry/Melo, I wouldn't mind the Rockets throw $12mil/yr offer out there.

    That's about what I'd pay him. He comes with headaches and a near guarantee of locker room troubles. Plus, he thinks he's much better than he actually is.

    Avoid like the plague. No telling what happens when he gets big-time guaranteed financial security. I can see him falling off the tracks eventually.

    Pacers offer is about right. If another team is dumb enough to pay him more, they deserve what probably happens.

    Parts 1 and 2 of your post are incongruent - avoid like the plague and lock down for five years don't work. I'd say with his talent, a two year $30mm offer is more sensible than a five year contract that might be immovable in two or three because he may well go off the tracks in a big way.
