Being a legend in LA and living in LA does that to you........Grats Kirby! It's like a minor Oscar though, like when he was 6th man of a team and won the Larry O'Brien.
I know that players like Elton Brand and Kevin Durant have been into producing...... it takes time.. But Kobe winning it shortly after retirement, was surprising, I saw the nomination coming but the win? Just not this early. Well, I guess, he wins his titles early. That'll put him above Harden in terms of titles.
To his credit, I think he wrote it and conceived the idea. That being said, I didn't think it was that great. Also, he's a sexual predator.
I doubt that many of the movie industry people (besides Jack Nicholson) care about Kobe, let alone know much about his rape case.
