Here's my latest Rockets column. It begins with a Q&A with Morey, in which he shares his thoughts on the team's roller coaster start and issues at the point.

After DM shares his expert opinion, I offer my own (non-expert, though it may be).

Thanks for reading and, as always, feel free to share your own questions, comments or concerns. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

thanks for the post and the info.

morey has been pretty upfront with the press i feel, he isnt as brutally honest as JVG is, but i rather have that than someone trying to tell me what i want to hear

there is a PG problem still, the starting PG i think james coming in as a PG is not a good option, he is better as a SG off the bench. hopefully Steve gets more minutes to solidfy his role in the rotation and hopefully starting

He is still ragging on the PG play, if Morey had any real stones, he would sit Adelman down and FORCE Rafer to the bench.

Great read, keep up the good work.

You’ll have to excuse me, but when did the Houston Press add a sports section? I always thought it just had a bunch of ads for Asian “modeling studios”…

    ;)

Don't worry, the Asian "modeling studios" are still top priority :)

Seriously though, I was brought aboard in the spring (I've been in sports journalism for seven years although, admittedly, most of it was in TV. Don't hold it against me) as a way to help the Press have more of a sports presence, especially on the web. I've been covering the Texans this season and, after writing last month's extensive feature on Daryl Morey, it just made sense to give the Rockets the same sort of attention. And once football season ends, I daresay you will see a truly significant increase in the attention given to the Rockets... at least from my end. I can't wait.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I wish he would give a more straightforward answer about the PGs, like Rafer will go to the bench in favor of Steve or something.

Great Job man, thanks for bringing to Morey's mathematical brain our concerns about this interesting team. :D.

Which modeling studio do you think is the best? :D

Nice read. It's also refreshing to see a different local paper covering sports.

Fixed it for you. Fortunately for the Rockets, Morey is intelligent.

That's fine and dandy, but who's going to play the point?

Very nice article, good read. Interview answered stuff from Morey that was good to hear. Keep it up, the lengthy Houston Press articles are very informative.

Morey should be able to look at his statistics chart and just tell Adelman that Wafer sucks! GET HIM TO THE BENCH! I think if Adelman doesn't bench Wafer, Morey will just trade him for nothing to force Adelman's hand. Let's wait, watch and wonder.

Actually, about Rafer, I think it may be because Yao and Tmac like to play with him, not coach A wants to play him.
