Paul Millsap is not a star. Gordon Hayward really isn't either.

And they're unlikely to take pay cuts.

Millsap just opted out of $21.4 million. And he was underpaid in a Chandler Parsons way his first three years in the league, getting less than $1 million a year each year. And he was frankly underpaid in his next contract and even in the one in Atlanta. I mean he was doing much better, but he only really started getting "PAID" the last 2 years. He's made $92 million over 11 years. Obviously a **** ton of money, but one has to assume he's looking for max or very near max money.

DM has his work cut out for him...

I'm surprised there's nothing in the media about Hou interest in Millsap and vice-versa. Is the fit within D'Antoni's offense that bad? If I could target two All-Stars, I would go after PG and Millsap personally. (I like Hayward, but am convinced we have no shot)

Asking price is probably too high for someone who is not a superstar.

Murray is going to waste energy and time on the big fish while more realistic targets that could help us get signed by other teams. It always happens, just like when Lowry was going to sign with us a few years ago but we were too worried about Carmelo.

Hopefully Sap is against it. None of those teams are ready to contend or even make the playoffs for that matter.

Who are the realistic targets you are talking about, we basically cant sign anyone impactful unless we make some trades....unlike that year this is the right play because PG is the perfect ft next to james. 3&D+playmaker= 2 way great player, thats how you beat the warriors.
Iam sick of hearing about past mistakes that have nothing to do with whats currently happening just for the sake of being negative.
