What? Dust off flying Ryan Anderson?

Yep, when GS packs the paint, we need to have a 4th 3pt shooter to keep their big out of the lane and clear space for Harden to drive and finish.

The paint is crowded, and we are having trouble in traffic finishing at the rim......

Not saying start him, but a contrast at Center with him and Capela would be interesting and if he can hit a few threes....devestating.

Dust off Ryan - we need some of that 20m we are paying him to pay off.

First you'd have to convince him to actually take the shots.

    Lately Ryan be like...

Why is this so hard for people to grasp? Anderson has quit on the team. You think it's just a fluke that he never attempts a shot even in garbage time? He's literally just standing out there doing nothing. Don't tell me it's a lack of confidence. Mbah a Moute on offense. THAT is a lack of confidence. Anderson is intentionally dogging it out there. It would be insane to give him minutes. It would like playing 4 on 5 at both ends of the floor.

I think one of MDA's few mistakes this year was not doing everything he could post-injury to get Ryno some minutes and build his confidence back up. Show him what a valuable off-the-bench instant offense guy he could be.

The Rox are 18-1 when Ryno makes 3 or more 3-pointers this year. That spacing when he's a threat is indeed valuable.

i don't know about "intentionally dogging it". He's broken ...shattered, no confidence. I don't see the guy as someone who mails it in; there's effort. he just doesn't trust himself so he's playing tentative; deferring when he should be shooting. I can't say i'd trust him to play meaningful minutes in game 4; not having played many minutes over the last month. But i still believe he would be an effective weapon in the right circumstances. And let's face it, Mbah a Moute is hurt and shouldn't be playing.

I would not have given up on anderson completely the way MDA did; he should have played more minutes in the 1st two rounds.

What the hell report do you need? The man will literally not shoot the basketball. It doesn't matter what the score is. It doesn't matter how much time is left in the game. When he receives the ball, he won't even look at the basket before he immediately passes it back to whomever dished it to him. That's not a lack of confidence. That's a lack of interest in participating in the game. And he's done it every game he's played in this series. Even when the Rockets were either up 30 or down 30 which one would think would negate any alleged confidence issues. I mean, it wouldn't matter whether or not he made the basket. It won't affect the outcome of the game and D'Antoni isn't gonna pull him and bring back one of the starters.

Anderson is mentally checked out. He is a lost cause at this point as a Houston Rocket. The only way his career can be salvaged is if he joins a new team for a fresh start.

You gonna get trolled for this thread but I'd rather see him out there than Green. Ryno has helped us against the Warriors in the past.

He needs to be shipped somewhere else. The problem is no one in their right mind would take on that contract even if they thought they'd get a guy who could average 12-15 PPG.

Wow. Just imagine how great the Warriors' offense will look if both Green and Anderson are on the court at the same time.
