Nott just the 2nd best in the league behind GSW , but a top 10 offense in league history - on par with Showtime Lakers, Jordan's Bulls, Celtics, D'Antoni Suns, etc.

I agree about not having Ryno come off the bench, but I disagree that he is mentally weak. The dude was involved in trade rumors for three months. According to some, he was as good as gone. A lot of players would have let it affect them, but he came out and played like he always does (at least away from TC). That to me shows me he just worked on his game all summer, and didn't let rumors get in his head.

Offense and spacing is way too important.

Ryan Anderson is the best option

I dun mind Tucker, but I think people overrate his Defense too much.

He is good but not that good. You add up Defense, you take from 3 pt shooting as I doubt Tucker is as good as Anderson in this department.

Worth a try for certain matchups!

I hope you are not referring Pre Season OKC without WBrook and PPat as one of the best Offenses already. Hope not.

Can we get DOWN to Earth please!

Tucker does not look his sharpest, he should slim down. He should be even better. THICC!

overrate in what way? a lot of us have said he can guard multiple positions, plays with energy and toughness just like PB, plus defender for sure. all of which are true.

which part of that is overrated?

Overrate that he is sort of a lockdown defender. He makes players work but that is all. I want to see him do it consistently on a good WC team rather on the non contending Suns.

but that's what good defense is. guys that you call upon if you want to get a stop. Ill glady call upon tucker in key moments where defense is crucial. he possesses all the intangibles needed to help minimize defensive mistakes in those situations

who would you say is best player that would be considered a lockdown defender? kawhi/avery bradley come to mind but while their defense is very good, they still dont completely shutdown guys. that doesn't really exist anymore.

Guys call him Draymond lite already, lol Draymond is an Allstar..... Lite at least would put him in borderline allstar area which he is not.

I watched him and he is slow for a perimeter player, his defensive positioning against OKC's second team is pretty good but could be even better. I hope he can get trimmed to better shape.

Anderson's value as a floor spacer gets consistently overlooked on here.

I'm not saying it makes up for his poor defense. Or that it is worth 20 million a season. But it is an incredibly valuable skill and something that he does much better than Tucker, Luc or anyone else on our team from that position.

With that said, the great luxury of the Rockets this season is that we will be able to have a truly elite ballhandler, playmaker, passer on the court at all times throughout the game. So whether Anderson starts or comes off the bench, he should be getting open looks created for him from CP3 or Harden.

It's going to be fun to watch as we figure out our best rotations and best ways to utilize this new found star power and depth we have this year.

You should look at how he transformed the raptors defense when he got there last year and how bad they were when he wasn't playing

I have never been a fan of Anderson. I have been upfront with that for a while. BUT, I recognize the skillset he brings. The 3pt shooting and perhaps more importantly the gravity he creates to augment Harden/CP3's game in terms of lane driving.

That said, it frustrates me more than anything when Anderson isn't doing the ONE THING I most needs to do and is consistently hit those 3ptrs.

The sooner the Rockets can find a better replacement for Anderson, the better.

It also doesn't help to know that Anderson's boat anchor contract pretty much cost the team Melo.

Yup I heard, the sample size is still a smaller one.

Well, I just do not want to join his bandwagon so early. His Offense is not quite knocking it out of the ball park doe and with Chris Paul's scoring possibly dipping, I guess other guys like Ariza, Capela, Tucker have to step up and score, keep Defenses honest.

No... we really need Anderson to get on a roll right now. If he starts making those 3's, which we all know disappear in the playoffs, he becomes prime trade bait.

Sure let’s ignore all those threes he did make against the spurs.

We must showcase our asset as much as possible. Ryno starts.

draymond is an all star bc of everything he does on both ends, especially defensively and hes the real C and core of what GS does next to their mvps

tucker was brought here basically matchup against guys like them which improves our defense bc we didn't have guys like that last year. not sure what the issue is with tucker and why some feel the need to disregard him on what he does best but for those that aren't familiar with him, hes quickly going to become a fan favorite much the same way PB was.

Dash is already doing his best Billy Donovan. Replace "Kanter" with our guy:

    "We can't play (Anderson)."

What I do want to see from Ryno this year are:
    - More midrange pick and pop plays with CP3
    - More midrange shots, especially when he is struggling with his 3pt shot
    - A LOT more 3pt attempts, especially when he is struggling with his shot
