Before tonight's game with the Minnesota Timberwolves, former Rockets coach Rick Adelman talked about how much he enjoyed the 22-game winning streak his Rockets had in 2008.

He also talked some about the current Rockets and Kobe Bryant's injury.

yeah, that's right, we have a bunch of role players doing the streak, compared to the lakers 33 and the heat's streak, ours is definitely special

I wonder how Adelman would handle this team if he was still coach

Our half court game is nothing in comparison to the Princeton offense of Adleman.

When we get into a half court trap, it's nothing but:
    1. Stretch the floor
    2. Harden iso
    3. Asik pick and roll at the top of the key

Completely predictable and easy to collapse on.

The motion offense and cuts to the basket had so much more strategy

Harden ISO is the antithesis of Adelman offense.

If it is so easy, why is ours one of the best in the league?

Its great to hear Rick Adelman reminisce about that streak. Minnesota is one of those teams not named the Rockets that I pull for, and its because of him. If there is one coach that deserves another shot at a championship, its him.

What a great interview. I miss Coach Adelman, and it still bothers me that he's gone. He'd have a ball with the players we have now. Thanks, Clutch.

Great interview and great man. McHale can go back to Minnesota and Adelman can come back to the Rockets.
