I know he isn't a 3rd star but we desperately need Lin to step up. No idea what has happened to that guy but he is very talented (but streaky) and he would be huge for us if he was playing at his peak.

 

Using solitary lucky wins like Detroit in 04 and Dallas in 11 as models is hardly good planning. Can you think of a single team who had 3 top 15 players in their prime together for more than 3 years who didn't win an nba title? The answer is there hasn't been one, hence Morey....

 

So basically this thread is about taking one line out of context and no one reading the actual article to see that Morey says Chandler could be the 3rd best player on a championship team? Five stars, would read again.
