I like Lin yes. I also agree w/ what Calvin Murphy was saying in another thread. Go check it out. I'm just predicting the future. Let's see if I'm correct. I read somewhere that Mchale has less control, and Sampson is more control. Could be wrong. But these last 9 games, this offense seems to jibe much better w/ Sampson's no democratic ball offense. I really got to change my signature below. Cheers.

 

It's pretty bad when Sampson is the defensive coach, and Houston is the worst defensive team in the league.

 

I see Lin as more of a foundation-al player myself. He's too well-behaved to go rogue.

 

I think sometimes the Rockets do go rogue. Last game, in the second quarter, Harden had a 3 point play and Lin had a 3 point play, plus 4 extra points for a 10-0 run, closing the lead the Hornets had on us. Those were all on fast breaks. I guess Sampson or Mchale couldn't take it anymore, so they benched Lin in the 4th.

 

I did see the Calvin thread and I agree with you. I also think McHales subs and coaching abilities are really questionable. However I don't think Sampson has more control over the team than McHale. Although I would prefer that to be the case. I laughed at your signature comment though. I do agree that should change until proven otherwise

I just hope we can get back to the same type of basketball we saw before the last NOLA game.

Maybe the first game @ NOLA was where we fell apart and this game @ NOLA is where we return to playing how we played before or maybe its just wishful thinking by me.

Every single time I see that Volvo commercial and hear Jeremy Lin say, "I'm not here to live up to anyone else's expectations" I think to myself "And it's a good thing too!"

If Sampson was in control T Jones would be getting playing time like he was getting when Sampson was running the team... So yea, you're wrong. No doubt about it.
