    Who the hell came up with this? It's hard to say "Pelicans" with a straight face.

    "The Pelicans went on a ravaging rampage last week! The NBA fears facing this menacing, cutthroat team of rabid, bloodthirsty Pelicans!"

    So..we win. (even if they beat us)

    I hope they gained some of their confidence back by watching tapes of themselves blowing away other teams. There also should be more ball movement/sharing of the ball this game, since the recent PPat's complaint and the media's questioning of it.

    The offense is terrible - leaving all the Jeremy dribbling the ball up the court and giving it up stuff aside, do you notice when the guards throw the ball into the low post, they make this pointless cut to the basket.

    Now, cutting is generally never pointless and movement off the ball is key but the way they make the cuts looks horrible.

    1) Asik, Smith or whoever is in the low post isn't going to make that pass
    2) I don't evne think they could make a pass because the cut is in a terrible direction (eg the pass comes in at 45 degrees, there is no way the passing player is going to get a leg up on his man to be receive a pass in what 2 or 3 feet of court
    3) if anything, the cut brings the guard close to the low post player to double team without having to worry about the houston guard staying out at the 3 point line for a potential wide open 3

    And what happened to those nice back door bounce pass plays that they use to run with Lin passing to Harden of Parsons....

    Just can't get the fundamentals right!

    That, or Patrick Beverly needs to go off. This is a guard's offense...

    Time to suck up a gut and get back to what worked for us when we were winning: defend, rebound, run. We were able to do that just a few weeks ago. How about we start doing those things again?

    The new, refreshed Rockets are back...straight from watching game video not of their ugly play the last game...but of when they were playing really well winning.

    It's going to be interesting to see how we play after McHale went all good times on the video instead of pointing out mistakes on the bad video.

    But, that was mainly the offense was better. What about the D?

    rockets lose a close game. vasquez gos hard. lin gets benched. team loses steam in the 4th. iso harden.

    I think he had a minor toe surgery earlier this week, will be out for 1 week at least.

    I really think our offense dictates our defense. When the offense gets going, their confidence goes up and start flying around on defense & create turnovers.
    When the offense drys up, it sucks the life out of them on the defensive end as well.

    McFail need to leave Lin of more than 15 points
    And Wizards, Cavs and Hornets have the best teams that Houston, but only Houston has Lin and Haden that can win any game
