    Cavs are on trade talks to deal their benches for D Jordan, D Favors, L Williams and G Hills. Why not Rockets? Cavs new lineup would be much better than Rockets. Cavs benches would be very scary!

    Can Rockets proposed the deal to beat Cavs trade talk?

    Free agents Jordan, Williams, Favors will walk for nothing in summer if the teams don't deal them.

    Cavs trade talks: (Cavs have decided to keep Nets pick)
    TT/pick for Jordan
    Shumpert & Frye for G. Hill (Kings save big money)
    J. Crowder for L. Williams
    JR Smith, C. Osman, & Cavs 1st round pick for D. Favors

    Cavs New Lineup
    Starting 5 - Thomas, Wade, James, Love, & D Jordan
    Reserves - Favors, G. Hill, L. Williams, Korver, J. Green, D Rose

    And this just raises many questions, like who could the Rockets offer that would be more appealing for each of these trades?

    And do these trades make Cleveland any more or less relevant than they are? (Which is, a fading borderline-contender).

    No way Clippers will let Jordan walk without the Brooklyn pick.
    Lue Will+Jordan for TT+ Shumpert+ Brooklyn pick i can see happening.
    And that will be huge for the Cavs.
    Maybe still tight for the Clipperd, and they will need another pick.
    Anyways thats the only Mega trade i can imagine happening right now.

    when your GM is Morey you always have trade interest and are in "trade talks" with pretty much every other team in the league all the time.

    Because Cavs are desperate.

    They won’t make it to the NBA finals. May have trouble in 1st and 2nd round if facing Heat, Bucks and/or Raptors.

    Jury still out on a healthy Rockets team. 16-0 when healthy

    Cavs are desperate, they have chemistry issues. Rockets are probably the 2nd best team in the NBA, we can't just trade our entire team and **** with our chemistry. We have to be more deliberate. Remember what chemistry can do to a team, Dwight Howard saga.

    Cleveland has its own first rounder to offer in trades. The Rockets do not. (I see no prudent reason for the Cavs to trade that Brooklyn pick unless they get a firm commitment from LeBron that he's re-signing in Cleveland.)

    Tristan Thompson has a more palatable contract than Ryan Anderson.

    Cleveland has more mid-sized salaries they can afford to part with than the Rockets have.

    THOSE are the biggest differences between the two teams' trade asset "war chests" heading into the trade deadline.

    THe Cavs would be dumb to make these trades. They need to just trade Lebron, Isaiah, and Kevin Love right now for whatever they can get before they lose everything next summer.

    Just my opinion:

    If it happens, Cavs can defeat Warriors in 6.

    Nobody can stop this bench - 5 players
    Favors > David West
    G. Hill > Livingston
    L. Williams > Iggy
    Korver > Nick Young
    J. Green > McCaw

    we got no trade-able assets

    also, cavs are ****ed if they trade their picks and Lebron walks after losing to the Warriors.

    I wholeheartedly agree with you. I believe the Cavs want to use that Nets pick in a re-build in the event
    LeBron bolts this summer. From the ashes perhaps comes a Phoenix.
