I dont think so because they knew of his mental health condition before drafting him

If the team denounces him, they are supposed to get a future 16th pick, I forget where I read that from though so take it for what it is worth.

If they send him to Europe, they get to maintain his rights without paying him until he is ready to come back.

.....and to the OP, get off the high horse. The team took a chance on him that no one with a lottery pick wanted to do. The team and all others knew about this condition it is why he didnt go earlier. In the sense of drafting this is called a bust, it happens sooooo much. We just have to deal with it and move on. The team is doing well, figure out how to improve on that instead of wondering about a bust.

This could have been asked in the other White thread.

To answer your question, I think our organization is letting the league handle the issue.

According to one of the articles posted here, the Rockets should get a compensation with the wasted pick.

No, because he's on Durant's level.

We knew the risk with him and we still took him. I agree I didn't expect it to be this bad, but I don't think we are getting another pick or any compensation

We probably shouldn't, but we might. I think what people are referring to was an article about the legal situation with Royce, but that was mostly opinion. He said we should get a 16th or a pick between the first and second rounds.
