The whole reason why we got Barry is so he can shoot the 3 ball. Otherwise he doesn't do much else. But throughout the season, he always pass up an open shot to pass the ball to a guy who can't shoot the 3 ball as well as he does. Barry is trying to be a good teammate, but come on, you are the best 3 ball shooter on the team, in the league in fact.

If you are open, shoot the ball. Please.

If he gets one inch of open space, take the shot. I don't care if he misses 10 in a row, shoot the ball. Do not pass up an open shot just to have lowry shoot it.

Brent Barry's in love with making fancy passes. But yeah, he should play like Horry did on the Spurs - a pure 3 pt specialist who camps out at the 3 point line.

The problem is, he is the cause of a large number of turnovers. When he puts the ball on the floor, I get nervous.

Barry is an odd one. Sometimes I wonder if he takes games seriously when I see some of the passes he attempts.

He should be barred from driving to the basket...he sucks. And bar from touching the ball other than just shooting 3s. He can't pass and turnover due to bad decision. His brother John Barry is a much better overall player.

i think the game got a lot faster over the years and for some reason he's not adjusting, maybe because he doesnt get as much PT now and is use to practicing with slower guys like in San antonio. Those passes he makes use to lead to easy shots back int he 90s.

Jon was only better late in his career, Barry had a better overall career and was better overall in his younger days. The problem is after they both aged, brent's game took a hit because he used his athleticism a lot, while Jon always played somewhat of an old man game so aging didn't change his game much.

I think Barry isn't a Tracy-like player that can creat oppotunities for himself, and we all consider this imcompetent as a good sense of teamwork. Tracy has taken too much blame that he doesn't deserve.

Ive been patient with Brent Barry all year. But I cant take it anymore. Barry brings nothing to the table. He might make an open 3, but are you confident its going in when he shoots? He cant defend anyone. He makes the dumbest turnovers. He brings nothing.

Brent Barry tonight. 13 minutes. 1-4 fg. 1 rebound. 1 assist. 3 points.

I dont think im blowing one game out of proportion, this was a typical game for Barry this season. His minutes need to go elsewhere, I dont want to see him on the court anymore except for 3 point shooting situations.

Brent Barry makes me miss Jon Barry.

that was good D, look at barry's takeoff, that's his trademark dunk takeoff, the defender got there and was ready to block the dunk, barry had to adjust on the fly but he was going to fast to lay the ball in softly.

Barry was mostly brought in as a leader, dont forget that. I know fans dont like that, they want to see guys on the court or off the team, but to teams those bench guys matter sometimes, like cassell with boston last year.

I understand hes a veteran and a leader and a good teammate. But he needs to do these things from the locker room then. Not on the court, because hes a zero on the court. Offensively and defensively.

Wait a minute, wasn't he like 0-7 his last two games? And all those shots were open.

That doesnt mean the guy should get bashed for it, what's he suppose to say "no coach, i wont go in"?? He has to go out there and do what he can, unfortunately the players are getting quicker every year and he's at a disadvantage and can't keep up. It's mostly the Tmac effect. if he's healthy then its von playing Barry's minutes tonight.

he was 0 for 7 in threes over two games, but 4 of 8 prior to that, he's been streaky..but his shots aren't all open, he's been shooting with a man in his face a good amount of time..
