so sad really I dont think anyone deserved to win as much as Yao did on the court he brought a ethic and perspective rarely seen. Very few times do yuo get a player you can be proud of both on and off the court, yao was one of those players. I know he will lead a very good life ahead filled with a lot of humanitarian efforts I hope he remains part of the Rockets family in some sort of capacity though
Great, no hate, just time to move on. tired of stupid unrealistic what if yao comes back for the playoffs threads or can yao resign for the vet minimum. i'm like what planet are you guys living on.
Behind the back on a breakaway, the slap pass, 3 blocks on shaq, and that was just your rookie season Thanks yao
Thanks for everything, Yao! You renewed my interest in the Rockets and the NBA. For that I will always be grateful.
I will always support this great man in whatever he does. Thanks for giving it EVERYTHING you had Yao, and enjoy the rest of your life, you are one of the few players that actually deserves fans. Good luck ! DD
A giant man with a good heart and a wonderful skill set. Had he stayed healthy there is no doubt in my mind we would have seen his jersey number quickly hoisted up in the rafters next to 34. It is not fair to everyone he could never stay on the court. Not to the Houston Rockets organization, his teammates, his fans, the NBA, China, but especially not to Yao, who always worked hard and deserved the success he would have certainly had. Just a damn shame all around. For me personally though, I am glad this day has finally come. I couldn't keep doing it to myself every year, wishing and hoping by some miracle Yao would come back and stay back. I need the closure.
Great player, great teamate, great person. We were fortunate to have him while we did. Just so sad he couldn't stay healthy. I wish him the best and hope he will stay connected, in some way, to the Rockets.
