    McCurry, who will turn 24 on January 7, was drafted in the 22nd round by the A's in 2014 from Oklahoma State.

    Seems like a good trade for us. Gets some salary off the books, and you get a high strikeout, young reliever.

    Sorry to see Jed go. Seemed like a good guy and was always solid when healthy. Will be interested to see what the Astros do at 3B. Not sure Valbuena is the solution
