If (when?) Me7o gets his buy-out isn't he limited in extra income on any new contract (for one year, at least, the duration of said deal)?
At this point I REALLY want Lebron to go to the Lakers, he won't be a real threat and there's nothing that kills a player's legacy quite like losing with the Lakers.
While I don't share your future seer of LBJ as an LAL, I do think the Kobe shadow i.e. Kobe-jealousy will haunt him as much as anything else in his (anticipated) Lakeside (sic) tenure.
I truly think he is making a huge mistake, not saying that he should join the rockets at this point but if he really joins the Lakers (even if pg goes there) he isn't going past the wcf, he'll either face us or the warriors and you can bet that both of these teams will beat LA
Yeah I'm seeing a lot of first and second round playoff exits in his future if he comes west now that the Rockets aren't an option. The best thing he could do is stay in Cleveland and lose to the Celtics in the ECF every year, at least then he wouldn't catch blame for the failure.
Lebron on the Lakers plus PG or Kawhi is quite formidable. Maybe good news is that it requires emphasis on regular season again for warriors and increases injury likelihood? Plus if rockets can finish #1 again it could set up Warriors-Lakers in round 2.
Would be wonderful if PG stays in OKC and the Spurs decide to trade Kawhi to somewhere other than LA. It's just gonna be LeBron and some annoying ass kids lmao
When he stacks up all those early west conference exits, people will discredit what he has accomplished via validated argument that Lebrons had easy rides to the Finals.
All I want is pg not to go to LA. I’m fine with bron plus whoever or bron plus a gutted team and kawhi. I know they’ll get some underrated vet signings for the low.. but we can beat that team. Lebron plus pg then kawhi or lebron plus pg with the young guns they have.... they’d be a problem
