Windhorst: Not sold but rhetoric out there has turned. Kevin has been saying he plans to be back. League said he was leaving. That has turned. Now a stronger belief he'll "probably" re-sign. The real choice for him, considering surgery/back/knee concerns, his max offer from the Cavs...The Cavs are making him a max offer. If Love wants to take advantage of the cap, the right decision would be taking a one year deal. If they sign him to a 5-year deal, they can trade him. They're deep in the front court with Mozgov and Thompson. If he signs a one-year deal, he can veto any trade. That may be something he considers.

I'm shocked the Cavs would want him back to be honest. Injury prone player who predictably got injured and didn't slow their finals run at all.

Didn't matter whose fault it was when he had the same impact on his teams finals run that you or I did.

I'd have thought Lebron would want more reliable players around him so he never had to carry a team in the finals again.

In b4: ESPN speculates LeBron and Love are in LA to talk about forming a super team there with Demarcus Cousins.

LmAO or that Love and Lebron are in LA to join the Lakers. ESPN's hard-on for the Lakers has no shame.

If they lose out on Kevin Love, who are they going to replace him with? You have to assume that Tristan Thompson is going to get paid and Cleveland would like to regain their depth by bringing back JR Smith. Between those two, Verajao, and Kyrie Irving's max, the Cavaliers likely wouldn't have money to replace Kevin Love with a player even close to his caliber.

He was hurt, you can't fault Love for that. He isn't injury prone either. Almost all of his injuries were accidents. If he were to play in the Finals it very well may have been Cleveland celebrating their first title. You don't get rid of 24 and 12 guys for nothing.

IMO, Love isn't going anywhere. He will stay put in CLE.

He said he wasn't leaving multiple times and no one believed him.
