DMo in 8 minutes so far:

    0 FGA 0 free throw attempts 3 defensive boards 1 assist 2PF -10.

Getting lost and being useless again

Avery Johnson is 10 times the player Beverley is.

I think in the 2nd half, Harden will handle the ball more. Bev up to now doesn't know how to set up DMo and Howard.

It has everything to do with Smith and absolutely nothing to do with Joey Dorsey who is playing his f'ing 8 mins a game role as "center" for this team just fine.

You people are super dense and just want a no name player as a scapegoat so you will never admit that though.

Can't be useful if you don't get the ball.

People wanting Kpap to play more, the guy didn't look ready to be playing major minutes for a good team. He would play make a little but he had a number of bad turnovers as well and like I said in another thread, he just didn't bring enough to the game to offset his bad shooting. The team needs Canaan to play more minutes, not Kpap.

Canaan needs to be let out of the doghouse and McHale needs to have better lineups. No reason to have Smith and Dorsey out there together for 8 minutes when you have DMo on the bench and no good offensive option on the court.

Maybe Smith could just become a Rodman type player. His defense/rebounding is a lot better than our other 4's. Don't look now but we're +11 with him on the floor LOL

Are you kidding? His defensive rotation has been good, and he has moved off the ball well too, the team is going into Dwight in the post, and not DMo, he has had one post touch that he did a dribble hand off to the cutter.

DMo is playing the team game, the problem is that a lot of the players are playing the junk game, pound the ball, pound the ball, drive and hope someone is open for the 3....our body movement off the ball has STUNK these last 5 or so games.

We need to move the bodies and move the ball, or we are going into a losing streak for a while until we get back to what works.

It's ridiculous that Dmo does not get any touches anymore. Really sucks. Other coaches have made it work for two post players. I guess if Dmo had a jump shot, it would help tremendously, but still, it can work. Oh well.

I guess we will have to rely on Harden to carry us to the finish line again. Sigh.

Beverley is a great defender, but Walls poor scoring output, is all on him. The rockets are giving him a ton of space to shoot and he is missing because his jumper isn't that good.

Wall is one one of the best distributer and ballhandler in the NBA, but he won't be a top 4-5 pg until he can consistently hit the open midrange and threes.

    Pretty much.

The only reason I don't get on Ariza about it is because he occasionally can score. Harden can run the offense and get everyone shots.

With that said, he's played solid defense on Wall as the only thing Wall's gotten are a few long twos. He just needs to chill out on trying to be Nash and go back to being Chalmers/Fisher kind of PG.

So basically bringing in Smith accomplished the following things:

    No minutes for Papa
Les touches (almost no touches) for Dmo
Harden with the ball out of his hands more.

Im really not liking this signing at all.

He did. We had a Harden 3 after a timeout.

But Bev just doesn't know what he's doing out there. I'm sure he has instructions, but he can't execute.

Problem with the starting unit also is only Harden can make 3s at this time. I think we'll see Brewer/Terry in the endgame at some point.

PB's D is overrated. His D is just pure hustle, not smart defender, he should watch some Battier's films
