Thank you Jeremy Lin for being horrible at basketball & wasting the Rockets money, hopefully you at least helped some Houston fans with their math homework. Have fun being sucking it up in LA

Lol serious question. Are people defending him lof or just rocket fans? I'm really confused here. Numero 1 he is gone, a player being gone means his services expired or were bad. Hence why we are speaking about him in a bad light.

Cut the white knight bs already.

Jeremy Lin wasn't terrible he was just overpaid and had crappy fans. Like him as a person and hope he has a great career with the lakers.

We could have kept Lin and Asik for one more year.

We could have kept Parsons for two more years.

We could have a $16 million cap space after the contracts of Lin and Asik.

We could have signed Love then.

Things don't work out the way we want it to be.

Sad it never went, or ended, the way I envisioned, but God always has a perfect plan and I'll forever cherish that chapter of my life.

    are you for real? haha.

if you think Lin is the definition of horrible basketball, then your bar for adequacy must start at the all-star level on upwards.

I get that with Asik/Lin/Parsons gone, and having whiffed on every big free agent this summer, the only real comfort is that we might have a diamond in the rough. I'm with you - I really really really hope that Ariza turns the corner, Harden plays D, Jones can take the next step, and Canaan/Johnson turns out to be twice the player that Lin was during his stint here.

Yes, there is the excitement of new opportunity. But you're telling me that you would rather have Canaan (who was borderline terrible at defense and running the team) and Nick Johnson (who is a completely unproven rookie) take over Lin's 30 minutes off the bench? When our window for the championship is maybe 2 years?

In your honest basketball opinion (forget his fans, whatever negative emotion you might have about him...), do you really think so little of Lin that you'd rather have two unproven rookies play significant time on your supposedly contending team?

On a separate note, we might be able to salvage Lin's production if we are able to sign somebody like Augustin or Mo Williams, but let's not insult Lin or our collective bball intelligence by saying that a rookie is already better than him.

Would not be shocked if Lin beast for the Lakers. Players usually end up playing better for other teams after the Rockets trade them SMH.

i'm having a little trouble understanding what you're saying ("one post"?), but i think you're referring to the bumble in the playoffs?

if you want to put the Rockets losing in the playoffs on Lin's shoulders, then I don't have much else to say except that we'll agree to disagree. just remember that basketball is a team sport.

Lin made a mistake, of course, and it had consequences. It doesn't erase the fact that he played some stellar games as a Rocket and deserves at least some appreciation after two years here.
