Hmmm. David Robinson got a degree in Mathematics from the Navy Academy. Maybe he could be the Moneyball coach.

Another sign that this franchise will NEVER be elite. It's always something. Change things every few years. Rely on stats to win basketball games. We need to ****can the whole statistical analysis bs now. it hasn't gotten us anywhere

    too much thinking...not enough doing

For the record, I'm hoping that Adelman returns.

If Adelman goes and we are rebuilding, bring in Mario Elie as a filler coach.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Turner could do, but Adelamn would probably have to retire for that to happen.

I will take Jeff Hornacek even though he's worn a Jazz jersey before. Heck, I will even take Larry Brown just to get a two-way coach.

Mario Elie because this city needs as many connections to the Clutch City Rockets as possible. While we're at it, hire Charles Jones as big man coach and Vernon Maxwell as athletic trainer. Clinging to the past ftw.

What about Ewing? He's been in the wings for a while now and has been under both Van Gundy's so he should know a thing or two about defense. He also knows a thing or two about big men and I think he'd at least emphasize size.

I doubt he'd play Brad Miller much so I vote him as far as new head coaches goes.

    Wry?

Quite frankly, the only guy I'd like to see fill Adelman's shoes is Van Gundy.

If I were DM I'd only have two choices:

    1) JVG. Alexander did him a disservice by firing him just as they got DM, and the guy still likes coaching but hates to move. He's an accomplished coach and overall RA's equal in coaching, however unlike RA he prepares his players well and doesn't half ass it when the lights come on.

    2) Coach Turner. RA's system fits the players like a glove, why not get the assistant who helped put it into place? The only issue I have with RA is he's too senile to coach any more, sometimes there comes a time for you to pack it up. I'd love to see what Turner can do.

So...what you are predicting is that:

HAL will be programmed to accurately process information without distortion or concealment, but will also be ordered directly by Morey to keep the discovery of the Kraken TWILL-1 a secret for reasons of corporal security, therefore creating an internal conflict that will result in HAL killing off most of the management team and getting shut down. However, HAL will be re-activated later to follow the order to sacrifice itself to save the new management team, so that they can witness the Kraken TWILL-1 catalyzing the beginning of something truly amazing.

Well, I don't know if that much optimism is justified, but I like it.
