Hey Sonic, I am really glad to see you posting again in the GARM.... And it was a blast, but more than that it was about meeting Clutch Fans.... The internet is so impersonal, and people get ideas about what others are like, and then you meet them and it is all switched around. Just really cool to meet other passionate Rocket fans. DD
Hey DD, man seems like you had a great time...I also, live in austin for the moment because of school. So if you and other guys would like to meet and watch the lakers game I am down.
So jealous, meat Tracy McGrady is my dream (and playing in the NBA). How much cost these tickets to be close to the court ?
Its crazy but looking at the picture of you with the 2 RPDs I recognized the one on the left as one of my old high school friends that I haven't kept up with. She's looking good.
Back after the arena campaign, I got to sit in Les' seats for a game against the then Vancouver Grizzlies. It was awesome. My friend who went with me high fived Walt Williams after he hit a big three. Looks like you had a blast.
I had floor seats a few of times in '96 - '99 because I had a friend who worked for 740. I was given the tickets and didn't even know they were on the floor until I got to the game. It was a nice surprise.
Excellent thread. Thread of the month. I can even smell the exciteness. Good job! Make sure you take more photos with the hotties next time... your wife will understand. It's not for you, it's for us.
I sat behind the basket during the Steve Francis era, that was really sweet. but your seats are sweeter.. (plus this team is a little bit better than that team too )
thanks for sharing DaDakota, awesome to meet you and great to meet another passionate fan be sure to make the next gathering... in June
Always wondered what you looked like Dakota ! I know there are some Rocket fanatics in College Station....We need to get together !!!! I lived in Austin for 5 years going to college....I miss Austin But man do I love this site and all the Roxs fans here !!!!! I would have broke many things without this site
The infamous DaDakota! Sounds like you had a blast man congrats good pics too! I can't believe you were able to get so close to the action. Maybe one day when I get out of college and can afford it, I will buy a courtside seat (granted I can find one, of course). Not to derail the thread, but does anyone know the going rates of courtside seats to good games like vs. the Lakers and if they even sell them on Ticketmaster or whatever? Anyways glad you had a great time on your trip down to Houston.
Awesome pics DD, I'm glad you had a blast. I like th T-Mac one. It must've been sweet cheering for them up close. I've always enjoyed reading your insightful posts...keep it up!
put it this way, my face value for my season tickets is $13, there are some scalper websites going for $120 easily, I couldn't imagine how much the courtside ones are
Cool. Red Rowdy on courtside is part of Rocket's fuel! And mixing in some armchair coaching is awesome! "I tell ya what I coached Shane Battier on running back door cuts."
