You know what was funny? I got so caught up in just sitting in the seats that I missed some of the game. The Rockets were KILLING them and I was just looking around taking in the sites...etc..... I also knew that I was recording the game at home and am just about to watch it now, to see what I missed. I can tell you that the Rockets are a TRUE team, they cheer for each other and you can tell they genuinely like each other. This is the most fun I have ever had watching a Rockets game, we are seeing something special IMHO. DD
I always wanted to know how the great DD looked like.I'm glad that all of you guys had such a cool time. GO ROCKETS!
Wow that is really a time of your life. It's unfortunate it takes either a lot of luck or $1,000 to get seats like that. Oh well, I'm sure the games are enjoyable from anywhere, just not that enjoyable .
Man, this thread makes me really, really wish I lived in Houston or somewhere close by. I'd kill to meet up with a bunch of fellow ClutchFans to see a game.
im happy for you Dada...awesome pics..and i cant wait to see a game with 900 dollar tickets...cute pics of the boys...the new wave of rocket fans.. do they also have bbs accounts? miniDada1 minidada2 hehe
Threads like this are what make this site so great. Man, I'd kill to be courtside! Thanks for sharing these!
Damn those were pretty nice. You guys see the picture of our suites from dadakota suites. yeah that's me! it was almost game time, and i had to take off my hoodie. great pics.
Great pics DD and you look nothing like I expected you would. For some reason I pictured you looking like the Mac guy from "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" commercials but in his 30's.
Great pics and great story! I specially love the Passion Assasin nickname. Don't know why but it just sounds right, he assasinates opponents with his passion and hustle.
Those are great seats aren't they! I used to sit in the same spot when Enron had those seats in the Summit back in the day. It's amazing how the game "seems" different when you sit in different spots around the arena, but down there...that is something totally different. The last game I was at was in '95 against the Jazz, and Malone came diving for a loose ball and took out the guy next to me, beers went everywhere, and I felt the need to give Karl a knee to "assist" him in returning to the court. I'm not a small guy, but Malone was a tank. If I remember right, the tickets back then were about $350. Seeing the size and speed of these guys really makes me appreciate what they do on the court. Glad you had a good time DD.
DD.....dont take this the wrong way.....but I always thought you were....well...... a FEMALE. Awesome pics btw
