I've gotta post the pix of me behind Steve Kerr/Bill Walton on TNT/ESPN broadcasts in those seats I was sitting in. I'll be there on 3/24, but its not a nationally televised game. This pic, DaDa's seats would be about 40' to my right (left in the pic):
I don't know about deserved it, I would think any number of the Clutchians here would be just as deserving. Meeting people passionate about the Rockets is awesome, because here in Austin (Spurs territory) it can get a little dryish at times. DD
I feel your pain. Even though I'm 270 miles away from Portland, the only NBA coverage I get locally has to do with what Brandon Roy ate for lunch. On top of that, Kyle Singler's a local guy so the college bball section here looks like it came straight out of the Duke student newspaper.
That's why I've been shelling out for League Pass for years. I hate doing it, but I'd go nuts, otherwise. (of course, some might say I've already gone nuts! )
And the local sports news sucks! We're on a streak and we were the last highlights... like 2 stories after high-school basketball. Sux!

Dang, I need to make a more concerted effort to go out and meet fellow fans. DD's adventure sounds better than Pee Wee, Bill, and Ted's.
Right back at ya Finals !!! It is always wonderful to meet other Clutchians.....and it makes reading their posts so much more personal, and you can understand the tenor of them so much better when you see the personalities behind them. Many times posts are not meant as bluntly as they read...and if you know the person, or have met them you can take that into consideration. Because after all we are all Rocket fans at heart.......we all HEART the Rockets. DD
Nice seats Dak you really need to hook a brutha up sometimes. From all the pics and descriptions, I really regret being unable to attend this one. Record setting game, alot of fun with the CF gang. Next time, for sure...I havent asked for a favor from the boss in ages, Ill maek sure I make it.
To be clear, those are NOT my seats, those were the seats of the owner of the suite I was a guest in.....and he asked me if I wanted to use them.. DUH...... I am WAY to cheap to pay for those types of tickets......at least until my next venture sells for hundreds of millions......(Fingers crossed, knock on woody). And as nice as sitting there was, it was WAY more fun to meet Clutchfans members... DD
