isn't the allstar game primarily for the fans? isn't it's primary objective to drive fan engagement w the league and its players? and you're saying you want to do away with the only direct input the fans have on their weekend?? that's the type of outside the box thinking we need around here!
If they really win another one with this core and some new players, then they are efficient af. The media can kiss their arses indefinitely, deservedly.
i see him listed almost everywhere as F-G, including mavs.com cbssports listed him as small forward he defends whichever wing player is slower and dorian sticks the other he looks like a prototypical small forward to me, but to each their own
If all star appearances weren’t always a part of a players career resume I would agree. Honestly pretty much every award is used in a career retrospect. Wish they would do a better job of getting things right with the various awards.
Players submit their positions to the league office, which is why he’s in the all star game as a guard, not a forward. You can’t really “agree to disagree” here lol. He either is or is not a forward, and the organization that employs him, as well as the guy himself, have listed him as a guard. It’s not super important, I’m just explaining your initial question.
Curry is not hurt. This game is perfect for him because he will only play if its with 4 other All stars.
the organization that employs him currently lists him as a F-G on their offical website. they list hardaway as a G-F so i'm guessing lebron being by far the most popular player in the world could be why he was submitted as G for allstar voting
