Dame will be an allstar so will Mitchell from Utah imo.

but I do think russ gets in I mean he’s avg 24/8/7 on a team that’s contending and 3 games back from first place.

This is his least deserving year too. He'll probably sneak in there I guess.

I'd have Doncic, Harden, Mitchell, Westbrook...anyone after that for guards...whatever, congrats.

Yeah, I think Russ first glance stats and being on a winning team will get him in...unless the Rockets starts dropping games.

itll be interesting who the coaches choose this time around this years group of guards to make the team. lets see the narrative they go with this year.

    It’s usually 6 guards and 6 forwards.

we know luka and harden will start that’s pretty clear.

dame imo is 3rd guard then it’s Mitchell Russ and I don’t know after that with klay and steph being out.

i see no way russ isn’t an allstar this year.

and the rockets have lost some silly games they shouldn’t have. If they beat Detroit Kings and the collapse spurs game were 26-8 and in 2nd place and only a half game back from the 1 seed.

I don’t care what the rockets say that pelicans game was a designed loss. It’ was load management for the big 3. I can’t say we should have won that game.

overall we’re finally healthy and full with EG back I expected this team to take off. I see 56-58 wins this years which should put them right there for the 1 seed with the lakers and prob the nuggets. Clippers gonna LM all year that won’t be in the hunt for the 1 seed imo.

I never understood why you can vote for injured and bottom of the barrel players.

I get that but who in the front court is going to pass Russ Besides Kawhi and PG13? Maybe Gobert I’ll throw him in their but that still leaves a spot open.

    Starters

    AD
    Lebron
    Kawhi
    Luka
    Harden

    reserves

    dame
    Mitchell
    PG13
    Gobert
    Russ
    Joker

    and maybe Aldridge/derozan pick one.

the last spot is up for grabs imo it’s tough to choose.

it really depends on what narrative theyre going to go with this year. We know this can change with the blink of an eye haha. Is denver only going to get 1 all star with their record. Is okc not going to get a representative if they stay in the playoff mix when nobody thought they would make it. remember 1st time all stars are a good story for the nba if they get a chance to push it and it makes some sense at the time. and yeah you alluded to the a spur if they're still a playoff team. how strong will their record be considered.

I totally forgot about that. Today is also a 2-1 voting day.

When it came to the east guards I drew a blank. Noone deserves to be voted in.

I don't know how the voting goes because I haven't really cared about the All-Star Game since the 1990s, but you would think things like winning player of the month would be an automatic ticket to the All-Star game. And... all the awards they give out would mean a lot more if those awards came with a spot in the All-Star game.

doncic is more a forward than a guard. but they need space for leroids, brow, kashi/PG

The Dallas games I've watched, Doncic runs the show. Does Dallas even have another shot creator??

Point Forward, he's typically matched up with the opposing team's small forward on D
